Answer:	I'm not sure about having more than one combination, and don't see anything in the instructions about it. Yes the combination can be changed as needed. Also, you didn't ask about this, but it does come with a master key that can be used to open it, as well as the combination.

Answer:	It does NOT shut automatically. You will need to close, turn the center dial lever from "unlock" to "lock" position. I tried and see if turning it half-way will lock it--it doesn't. However, "Close--Push--Turn to lock" is not at all complicated. Locking procedure will not work, or the door won't engage, ONLY IF you have someone who simply doesn't care to follow this very simple procedure the lock won't work, in which case, working with someone who won't/cannot follow something so simple and important in itself is an issue....(what else is not done at work properly....???)

Question:	can this be used for an oven? I was wondering if it might melt from the heat
Answer:	We have a 1 year old Amana oven that does get very hot on the outside. Getting rid of an oven because it gets hotter than you'd like sounds like a luxury not many can afford. To answer your question, yes these latches hold up on the outside of a hot oven. I cook almost every day with the oven set on anything from 250 to 550. The adhesive on both ends has shown no sign of coming loose after 2 months of daily oven use.

Answer:	I've reused mine 3 times so far. Just go to walmart and buy a roll of the 3m double sided sticky tape. Cut to size of the lock and stick. And removing was a sinch. I just got a eating knife and stuck it in the corner gave it a little life and it popped off. No mess , scratches. Clean off.
Question:	Is it possible to just buy the adhesive? I removed these from my cabinets and some of them broke, so they can't be re-used. I still have the "top" and would love to buy just the bottom so I can keep using it
Answer:	I use Command 3M Damage Free hanging refill Strips, get small or medium size, look for one that use for small hooks, not strips use for decorative posters, it should be strong enough (hold 1 lb for each strip) to stick on the back of each lock. I usually use two strips per lock, so it would be total of 4 Command strips to use for each Xtraguard. It won't damage the surface like the super glue adhesive that came with the lock. When you need to remove these locks with Command strips, just simply pull it out underneath, it would not damage the drywall. I bought a lot of these strips just so I can reuse these locks whenever I need them in different places. Don't worry, these Command strips actually very strong and holding on tight on the surface, so unless the kids have superman strength or you didn't wipe down the surface with alcohol before you stick to the surface, they can't pull it out of the wall/cabinet/fridge that easily.
Question:	Please help. I attached these locks to a painted surface, and now I need to remove them without damaging the paint. Is there hope
Answer:	Probably not. If you try to peel them off using a tool or some sort of scraper, you risk that scratching the paint. These things are super secure. There really is no delicate way to peel them off.

Once you installed the plates correctly, these plates stay PERMANENT at their place! So be sure to read the instructions first.

Although this mini fridge lock plates have multi-functionality but bear in mind that they cannot be adhered to painted or laminated wood, as it will not be secure on those surfaces. Helps comply with HIPAA and other privacy law requirements.

The ideal application temperature range is 70°F to 100°F, but once properly applied and adhesive is fully cured (after 24 hours), it will withstand lower temperatures.
