Answer:	I’ve only used it on paper, but, since it’s water based, I’m sure it would lift some, or completely, depending on the surface. On a smooth surface, it would come off. On cloth, it may stain a bit, but the bulk of the color would come off

Answer:	I don't know about the Ranger Brand, but the StazOn is made by Imagine Crafts (formerly Tsukineko) and they sell refills on their web site and they sell to many retailers large and small.

Answer:	StazOn dries quickly and does not work well for embossing. Best to use Versamark or other clear sticky embossing agent. you can use pigment inks and distress inks as they dry more slowly.

Answer:	Yes, you need the clear cover to keep the pad moist. I use thick mounting tape to attach clear cover to the inside of black cover. That way I never have to touch it.

Question:	Can this be used to take an infant's thumb / hand print
Answer:	I think so, although because the ink is so dark, I would recommend using a soapy cloth to wash the hand/finger/foot immediately after printing. If the infant is a thumb-sucker, I would discourage using this ink or others because of the chemicals used in making the ink. Using something natural like a red beet or other vegetable that has dye quality, but isn't toxic.
Question:	What’s the difference between this and the limited edition
Answer:	I've been stamping for over 20 years and this is my choice of ink pads. I don't know the difference between Memento and Limited Edition ink, so I can't compare them, but this is worth every penny you pay for it and the refills are readily available.

Answer:	I have always used fabric specific ink pads for fabric, but if you're NOT going to wash it, I would say its worth a try. I would leave the fabric sizing in if you can, and/or spray some sizing on there if the stamp has a lot of detail.

Answer:	I find that the "Dragonfly Black" has an almost bluish tone to it,maybe even with a slight hint of green. I LOVE this color because it just has more interest than your "plain ole black". It looks spectacular when used with a clear embossing powder! This is one of my sought-after favorites!
Question:	I bought some white pigment ink and made a card and the next day I touched it and it smudged.Why does this happen
Answer:	Color box classic is an ink pigment and not a dye which soaks in the paper. Pigments dry on top the paper and therefore take longer to dry.

Answer:	I don't know as I am new to reinking but just re inked one of my pads and tried to do so liberally. I only used a fraction of the bottle. I am assuming it will last for several applications. I haven't decided if it as good a choice as a new ink pad but I think it is worth a try!

Answer:	Good Morning Linda, The Staz-On ink pad is a different pad than Archival. Staz-On can stamp onto glass and plastic, where archival can stamp onto these mediums but will smudge-meaning it will never full dry. If you are having a hard time finding a re-inker for the Staz-On in pad, I might be able to help you. :)

Answer:	No, you need memento ink to work with alcohol markers. The ranger ink is awesome with brush pens and watercolors, but not alcohol ink markers.
Question:	Can you use this product on fabric? If so, do you have to heat set it
Answer:	Archival permanent ink can be stamped onto fabric from an Archival Stamp Pad, never used a reinker to apply ink to fabric before. Wash the fabric first to remove the sizing and then test a corner of the fabric before stamping your image. After the image dries, heat setting is okay, but never read where it is required. Suggest you test that on your test piece of the fabric. 100% cotton will fade over time, however, cotton blends will hold color longer.
