Answer:	No, I haven't used it to cover unfiltered 9" Zeyphyr hurricane fans. I just pulled up a picture of it but it's hard to determine if this hook or latch option added on allowing this filter to slide and lock, I'm sure it will work.

Since this is used on a ducted hoods, humidity and odors should be removed t the outside. Charcoal filters will capture odors. Answer:	There is truly nothing else for you to purchase. There is a "duct' that you rotate within the hood if it is being used ventless. And the filters already come with the hood. For the price, this is a decent hood. I use mine as a ventless application and it appears to work just fine.

Answer:	Thank you for your question. In the middle of the filter on one side, you will see three slots where the notches on the range hood will slide and lock into. That should be pointed upwards, and the felt-like side should be facing downwards. I hope this helps!

Electric/conduction produces less ambient heat, so 24" to 32." This manufacturer recommends 39" to 42", which allows for high-heat gas burners--I read that as 3" above common recommendations, so 39+" for gas w/high output burners, 33+" for older gas w/o high burners, 27"+ for electric burners. Also, add at least another 3" if you have wood enclosure around hood.

Question:	Does this fit the sev28s air king range hood
Answer:	Yes it fit perfectly for me.
Question:	How thck is it? Does the backside look different than the front? Does it have charcoal in it? Tks
Answer:	its about a quarter of an inch thick maybe more. The back side you speak of is actually the outside covering youd see when its installed. It looks like the standard view of any oven vent. Not quite sure what you mean by does it have charcoal. Not sure what mesh is used to trap the particles I wouldnt think its coal. It surely doesnt have coal inside of it as an energy source.
Question:	I am having difficult inserting the filter with the charcoal filter underneath without bending the frame. Any tips for this procedure
Answer:	your not alone . The charcoal filter should of been molded to the filter but its not. i have no solution for you just wanted to let you know its a horrible designed product. My next hood will be one with real baffles and not these ultra cheap flimsy filters
