Answer:	I bought model V65EN. It came with a wired digital controller. The installer did not run the wire into the house and mount the controller indoors. He simply set the controller at 120 degrees and left the controller inside the unit. If I want to change the temp, I have to take the cover of the unit.

Question:	How flexible is the cord on this for wrapping for storage
Answer:	I would coil it and use a bread twist tie or a string, or ribbon just enough to hold it in place, you would not want to wrap it around the heating pad, it might damage the pad. The pad is very flexible, the cord is just a standard electrical cord. Don't store in a cold place, a dresser drawer would be best. It has not been off my bed since I got it. I'm am married to a retired Electronics JR College Prof and 20 years teaching Electronics in the Navy, and have been taught how to handle the care of cords. DO NOT use rubber bands on them. A bread twist tie, string or ribbon is best, do not coil to tightly, or to loosely, and then you can carefully and loosely fold the pad in thirds and put the unconnected cord in the center. To be sure the connections are not damaged unplug it. Rubber bands rot over time. I Would NOT fold the pad more than in thirds, half would be better if you plan a long storage. For a suit case, put the pad in the center of some light clothing for protection, just don't put a heavy weight on it.

Answer:	on my third heat sunbeam pad. when the control light flashes and resetting doesn't work, the control is broken. One can extend the life of the control by turning it completely off, rather than let the auto-shut off continue to blink. Most heat pad controls have to be entirely unplugged to stop the blinking light. Sunbeam, at least, can be shut off without unplugging.

Answer:	Do you mean to ask if you can use it with a memory foam pillow? If so, the answer is yes. Our mattress is memory foam and most of our pillows are also. If you leave the heating pad on all night make sure it's not set on the highest settings. I don't know if the higher settings would cause a problem with the foam. This is the best heating pad I've ever had. Bought an extra one for my husband, and as a spare.

Answer:	I have arthritis in Every. Single. Joint. due to my EDS (Ehlers Danlos). I mainly use my heating pad during my time of the month for my cramps & lower back pain, though I've been able to use it on any part of my body that's aching the worst. This heating pad is flexible and lightweight, and conforms to my body very well, though I often tuck a sheet or blanket around it to hold it close and tight in order to get the most surface contact. Moist heat may be most effective for deeper and older/chronic aches; a 20-minute ice, then 20-min heat rotation for new/recent injuries. I used to work as a nurse before my condition got so bad, and we would always recommend a max of 20-min when using heat on an affected area, so as to not encourage an increase in inflammation. *** Always be sure to communicate with your Dr's office for their specific recommendation, that's what they're there for and no question is too small or tedious — it's better to be safe than sorry! ***

Question:	Is it possible to heat this without a microwave
Answer:	No, it covers the whole back. But the area that drapes over the shoulder and the edge area all around the border doesn’t seem to. But it has excellent temperature (Control) settings and at “high” (or higher) heat setting (which I have never used) it might put heat in these areas I mentioned that don’t register with me. I have had great muscular discomfort across my middle and lower back and this is the only heating pad (vest) I have ever found that in one application brings relief where I can actually nap (get enough relief) or fall asleep. And when I wake up, I am pretty much out of stress for the pain and tightness.
