Answer:	Some trash compactors have button-headed pegs on the outside of the bin at the corners. The "pre-drilled hold downs" are just holes in the bags that fit over these pegs to hold the bag in place. One pushes the bag down into the bin, then folds the top edge over around the top of the bin. If you have the pegs, then stretching the holes in the bag over these pegs will keep the bag from falling back down into the bin, especially useful when compacting.

Answer:	It is a very fine mist. I had to let mine sit and soak up the water for about 15 min, then turn on again. Honestly, it is ok for very small spaces like a office desk or near your computer while you are working. Mine worked very well for about 9 weeks, then started to make a weird screetching sound while it was on. I may order another one or a similar model.

Answer:	If you mean plug it in then no. If you mean the 240 thin instead of 120 that just means running two lines to it. My father did it for me and we just replaced an old one so the lines were already run.
Question:	How high do the clips extend upwards? Inside my fan the place the clips clip into is about 1 inch in the fan
Answer:	I have this in my living room and run it during the day most days. I have small children and they can't stand in front of it for too long when it's running because the air gets very hot. But I have never had any of them have an issue touching the metal.

Answer:	I'm going to assume that you might be talking about a place that you visit for a vacation or some other reason, but not a full time residence, so thereforyou (set it on the lowest level) when you leave hoping the Broan will turn on (when it gets cold) to save your pipes from freezing.In that case, I might not be the best one that can answer your question. (However) I live where my Broan lives, In the winter time I set It on # 2 settingand It does a great job.
