User questions & answers
Question: | My family has two appartments next to each other, both separate electrical installations. Would this work if we wanted to split the internet bill |
Answer: | Yes the EX8000 used as a wifi extender you have the option of having a guest network. You can use same SSID name as your main router or use a different SSID altogether. I did have issues with more than one extender on the same network using same SSID name as main router so I had to change one of the extenders to a different SSID. |
Question: | Has anyone connected a ps4 of xbox one to the wifi from the range extender? if so, signal and game play any good |
Answer: | If you mean an AT&T router signal, yes. If you mean cell tower signal, then no. |
Question: | Does it create a new sid or does it exteneded your current sid, so one does not have to switch to differing networks when in range |
Answer: | the input voltage is from 100 to 240 volts |
Question: | I don't understand how some people give this 4-5 stars and others can't get it to work and give it 1 star |
Answer: | there are 4 ports. I use multiple ones as this is the only system I can find that does not change the network name but once a year I also have one break and have to replace it or hard reset it myself. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does the label on the front of the unit (pac, level, etc.) come off easily, or is it painted on? looking to intstall this in a "clean" project |
Answer: | Yes |
Question: | The description says that it is a remote level controller. Does it work with an infrared remote control? If not, do you know of one that does |
Answer: | Did this work on ur 2016 cruze. I have same year (new body). Crutchfield (big home and car audio dealer), does not have this available for this year as of yet (6-2-17). Want to change stereo but i trust crutchfield to have these things first. Still curious if u tried it or not. |
Question: | are rca jacks both a line in and line out |
Answer: | I am not 100% sure, but it does work on my 2011 lacrosse, same connectors. |
Question: | Does the knob come off so that the unit can be flush mounted behind a panel |
Answer: | Not sure about the mylink system. My son purchased this and had the local shop install it in his 2012 Sonic LT with the 6-speaker system. His biggest concern was retaining the steering wheel controls and Bluetooth microphone which seem to be the most common trade-offs. Worked perfectly to add an amp/sub without loosing any factory operations. I would suggest getting with your local install shop and talking with the experts but I will say this. I drive a Mazdaspeed3 with the factory touch/NAV and bose 9-speaker system. PAC said the similar adapter would not work on my car but I installed it 10 days ago and it works perfectly. I believe it is because it plugs in line between the head unit and the factory amplifier/Bluetooth/Sirius/etc... controllers. For the cost/benefit I would go for it. |

User questions & answers
Question: | What the difference between pac ap4-fd11 amppro and this one |
Answer: | Its painted on but its raised lettering and seems like it wouldn't be hard to remove. My remote is hid, so it's a nonissue for me, but I understand wanting it clean!! |
Question: | Will this work for a 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid |
Answer: | IR controlled volume boxes are available, look up the MCM CUSTOM AUDIO 50-8394. |
Question: | my truck have original subwoffer, but i wanna change. My question is this kit should be install in the back or i need to put in the radio |
Answer: | Yes, there are two sets of RCA jacks. One set for "In", and one set for "Out". They are all female. |
Question: | focus st |
Answer: | Yup, in fact, that's what I did. I busted open the plastic housing and pulled out the circuitry, then drilled out a hole in the glovebox and mounted the knob. That way, I opened the glovebox and adjusted the levels if needed. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Will this work on an old school arcade machine |
Answer: | No, the SIN-35 is used to convert the speaker outputs from a factory head unit or other higher powered head unit down to the lower RCA type output. You connect the convertor's speaker inputs to the head unit and then use an RCA cable to connect the RCA outputs to the RCA inputs of an amplifier or preamp/equalizer. |
Question: | Will this kit work with pandora box |
Answer: | Do NOT use it for home audio. Car audio is by default 4 ohms resistance. Home audio standards can very but are generally NOT 4 ohms resistance. It really depends so don’t take a chance unless you understand resistances. Why would you need it anyway for home audio? Makes no sense. It’s only meant to be used for car audio without RCA outputs for those wanting to add an amplifier. |
Question: | Will they install into and work with a raspberry pi 3 b+/ modded arcade 1up street fighter ii cabinet? thanks |
Answer: | The other speakers remain powered on and unaffected as far as I can tell in my application. My understanding is that it simply converts the high speaker-level out to a low-level for the RCA line out. |
Question: | Can you use these joysticks for Xbox One |
Answer: | This unit has positive and negative wires for speaker level. The additional wire (brown wire) is only to be tied into the ground wire in the event of a hum or hiss. So its really a built in ground loop isolator. The unit is passive and requires no additional power from an external power source.hope this helps. |

Question: | Will this fit in on a 2015 Mazda 6 Touring (Non-Bose |
Answer: | Most likely it depends on what you are trying to do. If you care about having a left and right channel(for a LR 6x9 setup or something along those lines), I would tap into the LR rears. If you are just installing another sub, connecting this to the stock sub shouldn't be a problem |
Question: | Is this unit only for adding a subwoofer amp, or can it also be used for adding a 4 channel amp for the door speakers (like the stock bose system |
Answer: | this is an adapter to convert speaker output to rca. usually aftermarket head unit will have the rca output that you can plug straight to amplifier |
