Answer:	You can purchase a USB DVD or Blu-Ray drive to use with this laptop.

Answer:	I have one of these laptops and you cannot upgrade the installed hard-drive. However you can install a 128GB drive into the M.2 slot and make that the boot-default which gives you a dual-booting (primary and backup OS) laptop that runs much faster. I installed a 128 Gig M.2 SSD which is the maximum size this system can accommodate according to the PDF files I've read about it. Anything larger might be possible but it wouldn't be stable. The M.2 SSD was a WDS120G1G0B. It requires a mounting-screw which is not included with the drive and there are no extras in the laptop so I borrowed a mounting screw from the battery to get the WDS120G1G0B installed. I then used Macrium Reflect Free to clone the default 64-gig OS into the SSD (except the recovery partition) then used EasyBCD to edit the boot menu to make it default. For RAM, yes that is not something you can upgrade but you can increase the available swap-space on the SSD for virtual-memory but its slow.
