1.Remove the two 3.5 mm pentalobe screws from the bottom edge of the iPhone.

2.Apply a suction cup to the lower half of the front panel, just above the home button.

3.Pull up on the suction cup with firm, constant pressure to create a slight gap between the front panel and rear case.

Step 4

4.Slide your pick around the corner and up the left edge of the phone, moving towards the volume control buttons and silent switch, breaking up the adhesive holding the display in place.

5.Open the iPhone by swinging the display up from the left side, like the back cover of a book.

6.Remove four Phillips (JIS) screws securing the lower display cable bracket to the logic board, of the following lengths:

7.Remove the lower display cable bracket.

8.Use the point of a spudger to pry the battery connector up from its socket on the logic board.

I believe it depends upon how often camera goes "off" .. alerts you get that someone or something has triggered it. Have had wasps and bugs set off our garage camera :( Have not had to replace ours for about a month or more. If you have the Ring app on your phone, there is a battery charge check on it that you can look at to see the battery % left. This helps to know when to charge your spare battery to replace - takes about a day to charge a battery. Very easy to replace a battery, just pop out and pop in (we did not use the screws that comes with it to hold battery in place... so it is very easy to change). We have the regular ring cameras. Have not mounted this spotlight one yet.

Answer:	Not sure. But I believe they are selling the sewing machine, under the reviews of some type of beads. Because that way it appears to have good reviews. Until you read the reviews and realize they are not for this product. This product is poorly made and doesnt work for even the simplest of projects. I do not recommend this sewing machine.

Answer:	I work with an older model Singer which is a low shank machine and this foot works just fine. This foot doesn't snap on, but if you remove the entire foot assembly this foot then attaches with no problem and does a terrific job.

Answer:	I also was curious, and went to the website. It definitely states that it works with Windows 10. Great program. I have Embrilliance Essentials, Enthusiast, AlphaTricks and Thumbnailer. Love them all. If you don't already have any of them, I suggest you look into them. It's amazing what you can do with your existing designs. Because Embrilliance programs are very user-friendly (and affordable!), I now have my sights on StitchArtist 2.....
Question:	Does the PE800 have the ability to reverse and redo or go back over stitches in case the thread breaks
Answer:	You will be using the File Explorer that is actually on your computer. This does not use an internet browser because you are looking only at files that actually reside on your computer's hard drives. Look for the Folder icon or press the Windows key + E and File explorer will open. That is what the Thumbnailer uses. Hope that helps.

Answer:	Since designs are not stored on the software, so there is no limitations that I can see. This software allows me to see my thousands of embroidery designs in small to large icons. It works very, very well for me at a very reasonable price.

Answer:	No. It's a software to view your designs as a thumbnail when opening a folder on your PC. So instead of just seeing the name of the file you see the actual design as an icon in your folder. It's bern a lifesaver for me because you don't have to open the design to see what it is.

My main problem was that most embroidered fabric requires not only the right kind of stabilizer under the fabric but also a “topper.” The instructions do not explain this well. I took a class at a local quilting shop and now I am embroidering quite well.
Question:	What warranty is offered and does it have a uk plug
Answer:	I probably would not unless it was a thin piece. That type of material is better left to a specific machine built for that. I would hate to think I burned up the motor on my 1,000 embroidery machine trying to sew a straight stitch in a leather piece.

Answer:	I know this is an old question and some of my answers are repeats, but if you are still using this machine and haven't come up with an answer maybe one of the following solutions from my own experience will help you. I love this machine and therefore completed an extensive search for answers to my questions which included: Brother Support (not that helpful), studying the manual carefully & repeatedly, asking sew 'n' vac store employees and lots of Google searches. Here, in no particular order, are advice/solutions that solved my gathering/bunching issue and many other issues. 1. PROPER UPPER THREADING: Regarding threading, let me advise that the thread will jump out of the correct lineup at times so if your stitch changes in a bad way, check that first. Also, I had to use a clip over a piece of foam on the last guide before the needle guide because it popped out constantly, regardless of checking, rechecking and having others check my threading. 2. PROPER BOBBIN THREADING: I am forgetful so actually check the manual each time I thread a bobbin. Improper bobbin threading will really mess you up. 3. CORRECT NEEDLE SIZE & TYPE for specific fabric--VERY IMPORTANT!! Some of this is trial and error. Not all needle/thread guidelines I found applied to my situation. I tried Schmetz--130/705, HaX1 of 15x1--the Brother manual states this as an alternative, but Organ HLX5 (not sold locally) is best. DO NOT use the Schmetz "UNIVERSAL" needles if you are working with a fabric that specifically requires sharp or ball point. The Universal has a slight ball point--not sharp not full ball point. Learned that the hard way. 4. CORRECT THREAD FOR SIZE OF NEEDLE, TYPE OF FABRIC AND EXPECTED END RESULT. (superiorthreads.com is an awesome resource for this and many other sewing, quilting, embroidery questions. They have tons of educational articles and you can email them and receive friendly, personalized assistance for your particular situation. This is not a conflict of interest because Superior does not sell sewing machines and the articles and email support are available even if you don't purchase Amazon does sell a very few Superior products but not many.) Before Superior, I had no idea how many variables were involved in sewing and learned more about thread than I ever wanted to know, but need to know. 5. TENSION--BOTH UPPER TENSION AND BOBBIN TENSION. This is the first machine I have owned that both could be adjusted. Check manual for what correct tension should look like and how to adjust (admittedly the manual is not extremely clear). Bobbin tension is tightened or loosened by a screw at the bottom of bobbin case, and upper thread tension is adjusted by the small knob on the left side midway down. This knob has numbers, but they are essentially useless (even Brother agrees). They are there just to show the concept of righty tighty, lefty loosey--again, trial and error. 6. The LARGE DIAL TO THE RIGHT adjusts the stitch length, NOT the Tension. 7. Always keep the top thread guide pulled to maximum height, and make sure thread is coming out from the correct direction. Thread stands can also help although I have not tried one. Amazon sells these, several kinds. 8. If you use cone spools or slippery thread, you can purchase netting that will keep it from sliding and bunching at the bottom. 9. I have not yet figured out the best setting for the FEED DOG in various situations, but I do adjust it often if feeding seems difficult so far staying mostly within the light green area. Bottom line, your problem could be caused by any, all or some of the above factors. Good luck if anyone finds this answer useful. I can add photos, I think, if needed. Pretty sure this is the longest question answer I have ever written so I am not going to re-read, sorry for any typos or excess rambling.

Answer:	Throat space is the area to the right of the needle when seated at the machine. It is the open area between the needle and the vertical side of the machine that determines how much fabric might fit comfortably within that space when sewing on your project.

Answer:	Yes, there are many feet, including a walking foot. If you want a 1/4 foot with an "edge" on it, you would have to purchase one from the sewing outlet.com ($15.99). I like to sew with the edged 1/4 inch foot. Otherwise, there are many presser feet, including the free motion foot. You can drop the feed dogs to free motion. This is a great quilting machine and has excellent "pin feed," which moves the fabric through like butter. First time threading took longer for me, but after that it was free sailing.If you want to make quilts faster like I do, this is a great machine. I used to quilt with my Bernina, but I like the Brother better. It is more affordable and well made. You should also know that if you use thicker threads (I always use 100% cotton from ConnectingThreads.com), that you will need an 80/12 needle instead of the smaller ones due to the way the machine's tension is set up. Answer:	Even though this machine is not an embroidery machine, you can learn to do beautiful embroidery work on it by learning free motion embroidery. In fact, one of the cool presser feet that comes with this machine is the open toe darning foot, which is a bonus!... People who wish to embroider, use this foot to do so. You Tube has many fine videos that will show you how to do free motion embroidery, on a regular machine, with just an everyday wooden hoop. Just type in free motion embroidery tutorials in the you tube search area, and you will be busy for hours, learning to this method. Enjoy!

Answer:	Depends what you want it for. Simple sewing like clothing or piecing quilt tops should be okay - putting quilts together NO! The throat is not big enough for free motion quilting and it doesn’t do well with bulky material. Your needle will snap, bobbin will have a nervous breakdown and you’ll get error codes that will make you want to pull your hair out when you try to clear them. But if you set on buying this model or the CS6000i here is the skinny - it is easy to use if you stick to the book or YouTube for help and FOLLOW the step by step instructions. It’s a cute machine for newbies but an albatross around experienced quilters necks

Answer:	Because it's a review, some reviews aren't anything more than "it sucks". But for only 150 people out of 2,000 people don't like or understand the machine, that's pretty damn good.

Answer:	This would be a GREAT machine for a beginner. I've sewn for at least 60 yrs and have had machines that cost as much as $2,000, and to me this is the best. I'm an avid believer that one should read the manual first and recommend for you to do this. You will be able to nicely grow into this machine and should have no regrets with the purchase. I love idea that you can sew without using a presser foot, but can control your stitches on the front of the machine. Love to be able to see when the bobbin is getting low, various speeds, even some decorative stitches for you. It's quiet, fun, light weight for taking to classes, or for my motorhome. Answer:	Not as they come out of the package. There is a generous bottom hem, but sides are sewn. Would not be hard to open with a seam ripper and add a bottom tension rod. They are very well made and attractive.

Answer:	That's hard to say and depends on how you see color and the lighting. I see it as a light blue. It's almost a perfect match for paint company Benjamin Moore's Wythe Blue (HC 143), the color I was trying to match. I love it.

Answer:	They are not darkening curtains, but they are opaque. I have at my kitchen window and when the sun is setting, it shades the light. Very nice curtains.

Step 1

Power off your iPhone before beginning disassembly.Remove the two 3.4 mm pentalobe screws on the bottom edge of the iPhone.

Step 2

Attach a suction cup to the lower half of the display assembly, just above the home button.

Step 3

Insert the flat edge of a spudger into the bottom right corner of the device.

Step 4

Pull the display assembly slightly away from the top edge of the phone to disengage the clips holding it to the rear case.

Step 5

Remove four tri-point Y000 screws securing the lower connector bracket, of the following lengths:

Three 1.2 mm screws

One 2.4 mm screw.

Step 6

Remove the lower connector bracket.

Step 7

Use a spudger or a fingernail to disconnect the two lower display connectors by prying them straight up from their sockets on the logic board.

Step 8

Disconnect the front panel sensor assembly connector from its socket on the logic board.

Step 9

Remove the display assembly.

Step 10

Remove the three Phillips screws securing the earpiece bracket to the front panel:

Two 2.6 mm screws

One 1.7 mm screw

Step 11

Remove the earpiece speaker.

Step 12

Use the pick to lift the camera cable up off of the two plastic posts on the front panel and separate it from the last of the adhesive.

Step 13

Remove the front camera and sensor cable.

You have now successfully removed your Front Camera!

To reinstall the iPhone, use the previous steps in this manual and apply them backwards.
