Question:	How do you guys store this mouse in like a backpack or the similar, since there's no off button
Answer:	I’ve owned this mouse before and if nothing’s changed it will turn off and stay off if it doesn’t receive a signal from the receiver. So if you sleep your computer and press the mouse button, it turns off because there’s no reply. It won’t turn back on until it gets a signal from the receiver again.
Question:	is the mouse wheel smooth or does it click
Answer:	I just started using mine today, the mouse wheel has soft clicks (you feel it), and sometimes you will hear it if you scroll fast. I would NOT want this for gaming but for casual or office use its seems nice, my only complaint is the L/R keys are a bit louder than I like, and might disturb others if your doing a lot of clicking.

Answer:	It has an ON switch that is very annoying. After some time (5-10 min) the mouse goes to sleep. It must be woken up by pressing the button below the scroll wheel. If you walk away or pause for 10 minutes you MUST press the button. It seems like I press the dumb button 10x per day. It's not horrible, but it certainly doesn't deserve to be in a 4.5-5 star mouse. I'd give it 3 at most because of this dumb design, and I will probably replace it with something a bit ... smarter.

Answer:	As the other individuals have answered, this mouse does take a double A battery, but please note that the battery compartment is super tight, so a rechargeable battery (eneloop pro's) don't fit into this device. Kind of disappointing, as all I use anymore is rechargeable batteries.

Answer:	Yes. Unfortunately, me mouse's power off feature rendered the product useless. Within a minute of turning on it would automatically turn off.

Answer:	It doesn't matter, as USB 2 is plenty fast for the amount of data a mouse sends. A USB 2 mouse will work with USB 3, and vice-versa.

Answer:	The clicking isn't silent, but after testing against an old Dell RP962 / PY777 and a new E-3lue Cobra this Amazon Basic mouse clicks more muted than both. As others have said scrolling quickly produces a slightly more noticeable sound, but scrolling slowly is stealth compared to the ambient noise I normally hear in my office.

Answer:	Not that I’m aware of, you can change the sensitivity though.

Answer:	Yes. It can be used with any device that has a USB port for the dongle that comes with it.

Answer:	Things you can try. A different set of new batteries. Make sure batteries are inserted correctly. Look for laser when you insert the batteries (red light on the bottom of mouse). Try mouse with a different computer. Sometimes the USB port gets screwed up on a computer. You can also just try a different USB port. If none of those things work, might want to contact Amazon for refund.

It's horrible and my mouse is maybe 4 fee away from the sensor with direct line of site because my pc is on the desk, but it's almost unusable with how much i have to move the mouse to get it to work and then I have to set dpi up way too high so when it does catch it moves a good bit. so frustrating. I would love to hear more ways to fix this. I even bought a new mouse pad thinking it was using it directly on the desk that might do it. Or the black mousepad. so now this cheap priced mouse has cost me an extra $25 just to try and fix it with a nice mousepad. I should have just bought a better mouse. ug
