Answer:	Dear customer, You can be turned off the backlit function by pressing the "ScrollLock" button when you do not need it. You can also try to disable USB port power in the control panel. Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options > Edit Plan Settings > Change advanced power settings > USB settings > Disable USB selective suspend setting. Answer:	The handling of the light is very interesting. If you turn the light off and go to "Sleep" mode, the light will come back on. If you then try to turn the light off, the computer returns from sleep mode. The light comes back on when the computer returns to normal mode. I have found no way to "sleep" with the light off. I suspect the the 20 minute interval has something to do with your screen timeout but have not been able to reproduce it.

Answer:	The 'scr' led light is used to indicate whether the keyboard is in mac or win mode. To switch between mac and win mode. Assuming the keyboard is in win mode ('scr' led is extinguished). Press & hold the mac/win button for several seconds. Once the mac/win button is pressed the led light 'scr' will start to flash. Once the 'scr' led goes steady the keyboard is now in mac mode. Answer:	The keyboard was horrible right out of the box. The keys stick because of poor construction. The keys are on a plastic shaft that fits into a hole. The plastic on the key shaft would rub against the plastic in the hole. The friction caused the stickiness. These keys were not made to move up and down smoothly. I would guess that all of the keyboards of this model will have the same problem. It's a manufacturing defect.

Answer:	The keys are normal size, it is the keytop lettering that is large and easy to read. But I also find that I like the shape of the keytops and the key action. It is easy to feel the gaps between the keys because of the sloped sides. I'm 68 so I'm just a pup compared to you but I find this keyboard much easier to use with fewer mistakes because the keys are relatively light to the touch but solid feeling and have no wobble to them, unlike some Logitech and Microsoft keyboards I have owned. They provide good tactile feedback and are easily superior to most of the competition at this price point. I bought 2 of these and use them both on a daily basis 8 or more hours (I'm still working!) each day. At this price point I don't think you can find a better keyboard.

Answer:	I got it with out the mouse. I like the sewit mouse better and it was under 8.99. Way better deal and better weighted with a metal base. The keyboard is decent but far from the best there are a few quality issues the light showing through 1 or 2 keys but that is really it... Ibuse it for work with the lights out and its a great budget key board.

My reason for a backlit keyboard is I don't touch type so I look at the keys and I need the back light at night so I don't need to turn on the lights. The font on the keys is just plain annoying. Answer:	I think this might work for you. It is dimmable by a long touch on the I/0 sensor. The length of the light should light up an entire face or provide fill in light from above or below. I use mine to light my Flight Simulator panel in a dark cockpit. The goose neck is stiff enough to hold the light were it is needed.
