Answer:	Yes these are stackable. At first I thought they weren't because I just sat the top one on the bottom one without taking the top off. You must take the top off the one that is sitting on the floor. Once the top is off. just connect the bottom four posts to the top corners. You must make sure the four corners are evenly lined up. Once they are lined up just apply a little pressure and they will snap together. You will hear the snap. Once they snap, they are locked and won't separate. Hope this helps.

Question:	will this work with slides? Most microscopes are backlit, so wondering about having a child make their own slides
Answer:	I bought one to take photos of coins for sale on Ebay. It didn't work well for that purpose because it wouldn't back off far enough to take photos of more than one coin at a time. However, I don't see why it wouldn't work for slides. The base is white and should allow you to see darker items on the slides.
Question:	I don't need the stand, just the microscope; is it available by itself and can it be used with a gooseneck or camera tripod
Answer:	You might look elsewhere, as this is an unbranded camera that could be packaged and sold by many different retailers. I personally like this stand quite a lot. My unit came -unexpectedly- as a repack and the previous buyer had partially assembled the sand, not doing a very good job of it. Once I reassembled it I felt it really enhanced the use of the microscope. Focus and lighting control is a one-hand operation when the camera is in the stand.
Question:	best microscope for coins
Answer:	First, this IS definitely Windows 10 compatible - that's what I have used with this since purchasing this product October 2018. Second, it and the software is excellent for coins - with one exception - the "chrome plated pipe" that the microscope slides up and down on is TOO SHORT. I typically have to elevate it 5 inches (+/-) depending on diameter of coin I am photographing and how large of an image I want the resultant photo to be. I usually position it on a desk and place the coin on a table which is about 5 inches lower than the desk. I made a coin positioning fixture for the table by cutting a "V" into a piece of cardboard which I affix using blue painters tape. Now all I need do is slide the coin into the "V" notch until the coin stops (make the width of the "V" opening large enough to accommodate a variety of coin diameters). I colored the cardboard top surface in all edges of the "V" shaped notch with a broad tip black Sharpie to match black color of table top. This speeds up photography by quite a bit as you do not have to fumble much positioning the coin - just slide it in until it stops and rotate for alignment.

Answer:	The power rating expresses the output in watts (which is volts x amps). The voltage potential for for the adapter is suited to the voltage requirement of the computer, as when you remove the battery and use the adapter as a line source. Since the voltage is identical, the current (amps) will be reduced from an adapter with a lower watt output. Therefore, the battery will recharge slower (need more time to charge), like a trickle charge on a car battery. If the computer is operated during recharge, the computer uses the battery as source power and the adapter recharges the battery. The analogy is a bathtub filled with water (battery). You open the drain and the water flows out (computer) while you run the spigot at a lesser volume of flow (adapter). Eventually, the tub empties. At 28% less current flow, the computer may operate just fine, but with reduced illumination brightness or it may give you a low power warning and shutdown.
