Answer:	Mine set was plugged into 3.0 with no issue temporarily. There’s no benefit to it so if you can use any lower speed port, I would recommend that.

Question:	The light stays on all the time even when the computer is in sleep mode. How do you turn the light off on the keyboard
Answer:	Dear customer, You can be turned off the backlit function by pressing the "ScrollLock" button when you do not need it. You can also try to disable USB port power in the control panel. Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options > Edit Plan Settings > Change advanced power settings > USB settings > Disable USB selective suspend setting. Question:	with computer on, i turn the scrlk (led lights) off and after 20 min the lights come back on ? why
Answer:	The handling of the light is very interesting. If you turn the light off and go to "Sleep" mode, the light will come back on. If you then try to turn the light off, the computer returns from sleep mode. The light comes back on when the computer returns to normal mode. I have found no way to "sleep" with the light off. I suspect the the 20 minute interval has something to do with your screen timeout but have not been able to reproduce it.

To solve that, you need to enter computer BIOS settings page, find out the setting for USB port power after shutdown and then switch it to 'disable'. Question:	All of my keys not working
Answer:	Even in USB mode, my keyboard will stop working. The Windows Device Manager says that there is an error on the USB device, and wont recongnize the keyboard at all. The solution that worked for me was to: 1. Unplug the keyboard from the computer. 2. Turn the switch off (using the on\off switch) 3. Turn Switch back on 4. Plug keyboard back into computer. 5. Wait a few minutes for windows to recognize the keyboard (in device manager, it had a yellow error symbol next to "mechanical Keyboard" but it finally initialized after about 3 or so minutes. 6. Reset computer if needed. This is potentially one of the worst implementaitons of a USB product that I have ever seen. ITS A KEYBOARD, WTF! Look at how many tech questions on amazon there are for this product! Pretty lights are not worth the stupid crap you frequently have to do to keep A KEYBOARD working.

Question:	After a full charge of the keyboard, how long does the the charge last? Can you completely switch off the backlit when you do not require it
Answer:	This is my second K800 keyboard. At the beginning, they both held a charge for about a month, but after a few months, this one needs to be charged about once a week. I use it about 3 - 4 hours a day. The old one got so bad that I didn't bother unplugging it at the end. But you can switch off the back light which, in my experience, will extend the charge.
Question:	With this keyboard being "wireless" can you still use it totally all of the time with the cable attached? I mean, can you use it as a cable keyboard OR a wireless
Answer:	This is a super fantastic keyboard. Yes, even though it is "wireless" you can still use it totally all of the time with the cable attached if you want to. Does not cause a problem at all! So if you have been using it wirelessly and the batteries go low, you can plug it in and use it while it is charging! You are never stuck with a dead battery keyboard!
Question:	Can you disable the proximity feature and have the keys lit all the time regardless of the distance of your fingers from the keyboard
Answer:	I don't believe so. The keys light up when you click on something that requires a reply or when you start typing a letter. an e-mail., etc. During the day you don't notice that the keys light up as much as you do at night. Also if the keys stayed lit-up you would have to charge the keyboard up more often. A charge lasts for about 5 hours of typing. So far I haven't had to charge mine yet, but I think if the keys stayed lit-up all of the time I would have had to by now. Hope this is helpful.
Question:	do you need a logitech mouse to operate the keyboard
Answer:	This keyboard does not have a trackpad, so you will need a mouse. Answer:	It has a softer feel to the keyboard than the mechanical type keyboard. You have to push the keys down a little harder to make sure you have the correct keystroke.
Question:	Was your keyboard absolutely horrible after a few months. The keys seem to be sticking without any apparent cause
Answer:	The keyboard was horrible right out of the box. The keys stick because of poor construction. The keys are on a plastic shaft that fits into a hole. The plastic on the key shaft would rub against the plastic in the hole. The friction caused the stickiness. These keys were not made to move up and down smoothly. I would guess that all of the keyboards of this model will have the same problem. It's a manufacturing defect.
Question:	I touch type and having problems hitting more than one key as I grow older (87) Are the keys actually large than regular or just the letters
Answer:	The keys are normal size, it is the keytop lettering that is large and easy to read. But I also find that I like the shape of the keytops and the key action. It is easy to feel the gaps between the keys because of the sloped sides. I'm 68 so I'm just a pup compared to you but I find this keyboard much easier to use with fewer mistakes because the keys are relatively light to the touch but solid feeling and have no wobble to them, unlike some Logitech and Microsoft keyboards I have owned. They provide good tactile feedback and are easily superior to most of the competition at this price point. I bought 2 of these and use them both on a daily basis 8 or more hours (I'm still working!) each day. At this price point I don't think you can find a better keyboard.
Question:	Are the letters on the keys visible and clear if you turn off the backlit of the keyboard
Answer:	You cannot turn off the keyboard light, only change the lighted colors of the keys themselves from either blue to red, or from red to purple. So you have three color choices of what color you'd like your keys to be, but you cannot turn off the keyboard light itself. The keys always remain lit while you're using your computer, then it turns off when you shut down.

Question:	Does this keyboard keys fade with heavy use
Answer:	They seem to be some sort of Decal, but even scraping doesn't seem to remove them. I have used similar keyboards for years, and unless they are totally abused, they will last for years.

Answer:	Yes, the multimedia keys can be disabled. It's the same for all multimedia keyboards, not only this one. It's controlled through Windows. It's a step-by-step process which is a bit long to show here. Question:	Are you able to program the keys to do functions you want or are these not programmable
Answer:	I first saw the Dell version at the VA Hospital; Mine is connected to USB 3.0 on a Win 7 system, using an extension cable! Very easy to see the keys in a low light room and quiet keys as well. I doubt you'd have a problem!

Answer:	I understand that you're asking about the fn key that is commonly found on laptops that have compact keyboards with a reduced number of keys, and therefore have an fn key used like a shift key to activate key presses that are doubled up on other keys (such as f-keys and multimedia keys). This is a full size keyboard as you will see by the photo. Full size keyboards don't need a separate fn key because each f-key is on its own key, and the multimedia and other hot keys also are on their own keys, as shown on the photos. The keys are not backlit; I don't see any claim that they are. The yellow color of the keys is fluorescent though, which means they are still fairly visible in very low light.
