In part due to its shape and style but, I would say more of an auditorium style guitar that is stripped down- no casing and no pick guard and a smaller body. The beautiful light, hard maple neck is unique and provides durability and is a perfect fit. It was the deal maker for me. This is a bright sounding guitar with warm mids and pronounced bottom (bass) which is often lacking in a fair amount of guitars. The action is as good if not better than any acoustic I’ve played making it nearly effortless and easy on your hand allowing for swifter chord changes. Like it’s name Academy, it is advertised as a good beginner /starter model. Don’t be fooled-as a long time acoustic player this guitar will be desired by any player of any level once you play it. Answer:	I don’t think it claims to be waterproof and I’m pretty sure it would not of completely soaked or submersed. However for a normal rainy day I would not be worried. Answer:	Mine set was plugged into 3.0 with no issue temporarily. There’s no benefit to it so if you can use any lower speed port, I would recommend that.
