You can map right toe brake to acceleration and the left toe brake to brake. It’s possible you could map the rudder feature to provide directional movement of a car like a plane on the ground but that will be weird at high speeds.

Answer:	The yoke itself is larger than the mounting piece. The yoke box width is just under 11 inches. The yoke box depth is about 10 inches of you count the switches but not the yoke itself. The mounting piece is about 10 inches deep and 8.5 inches wide. These are approximate for the base plate as I don't want to take the yoke off it.

Answer:	I plugged mine into a computer that didn't work. It would turn on, but only to a blue screen. I could not open any program or even to log in. When I plugged this in and turned on my old computer I DID NOT DOWNLOAD the system on the USB. So Microsoft still works. However, on an older, but still working I did download a 2nd Xtra PC Pro (yes, I bought 2). The one I downloaded the program does not use Microsoft or Google. I could still access the documents, but couldn't make changes on the Microsoft documents.

Answer:	Amazon told told me the item I purchased in "preorder" status, was actually backorderedbecause they either didn't receive any from TM or they oversold their stock and didn't bother to change it to out of stuck.. That's not exact wording but pretty darn close! Either way, a preorder meant nothing I guess. If you select chat under contact us tab of Amazon, then luck the item it'll say an estimated ship date. Answer:	It works great with Elite Dangerous. I have used it for about 2 months. Unfortunately, my number 3 button and the right hat switch stopped working. I used neither switch very much. I'm awaiting a response from Logitech to see if they will replace the stick.
Question:	Approximately what is the twist (yaw) range, in real-world degrees? And the pitch/roll range
Answer:	The joystick's handle itself twists approximately 15 degrees to either side for yaw, angles appx. 40 degrees (side to side) for roll, -pitches (forward/down) at appx 45 degrees and +pitches (backwards/up) at 30-35 degrees. What those motions will correspond to will really depend on the application in which they are used. Most flight games have advanced control settings that will let you tailor the response of the aircraft to the range of motion of the stick in advanced or personalized control set up menus.

Question:	Does the throttle work on twin engine aircraft such as the a
Answer:	Yes. In flight sims if you assign the throttle axis to the throttle input in game, the throttle should operate all engines together like any other throttle. Ive tested it in Xplane. If you want to fly a twin engine plane and control the throttles separately (for aiding in steering on the ground and things like that), you need to use a key binding for the seperate throttle inputs or just drag it with the mouse pointer. You could always assign then to the seperate axises on the throttle but that might be awkard. I use those for prop advance, mixture ect.But for normal flying it works fine.
Question:	How is this joystick secured to the desk? It seems like with that small base it would slide around a lot especially with the rudder controls
Answer:	Like Will answered, there are four suction cups on the bottom of both the stick and throttle that, on *some* desks, will work very well (smooth surfaces like glass are best, but an ikea or wooden desk might be hit or miss). With very aggressive joystick movements the base can come up off the desk. Myself personally have not had any issue with it sliding from the rudder/yaw though!Beyond that there are four rubber "feet" that grip fairly well for sliding, however that isn't the problem I had with them. My issue is that the base will "rock" up off the desk with hard throttle input because it's kind of sticky when it's brand new (at least mine was). I rectified this by taking it apart and removing some of the silicon grease used. This loosened it up more than the adjuster on the side allowed for and it's very comfortable now. I also removed the "bump" in it while I was at it, and now the whole thing works perfectly for me.I should add that there are two holes on each base that would allow for a screw or bolt to pass through. Would be rock solid that way if you want to mount them to something!

Answer:	both sticks have the same footprint which is about 6.75" X 6.75"

Answer:	HOTAS works pretty good for helicopter controls (I've only played ARMA though) but I'd recommend removing the "bumps" in the throttle. It's very easy to do, completely reversible, and helps a ton for helicopter flight! Answer:	A couple of buttons are different and material in various parts are better on the Pro version. Functionally they are the same with the same amount of buttons.

Answer:	That's why I bought it... the controller was the original one elite dangerous was designed to work with. It's an excellent choice for it.
Question:	I have a Mad Catz era X52 Pro which died of bad build quality. Has this model been updated at all since Logitech bought Saitek
Answer:	Unfortunately, no. Logitech has made no improvement to the quality of the Saitek peripherals. I had an X55 that failed toward th end of the 2 year manufacturer warranty and Logitech failed to honor it. While I went through the obnoxious month long process to try and get Logitech to honor the original warranty on the X55, I foolishly purchased a X52PRO to hold me over. After 4 days the "i" button on the throttle failed. So buyer beware. Ultimately I ended up moving on to the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS and I've never looked back. By comparison the Siatek / Logitech gear has the build quality of a child's toy. There is literally no comparison. I realize that the price of the Warthog is steep, but at this point I've spent way more on Saitek gear only to have it all fail. If you do migrate to the Warthog just realize that the flight stick does not twist for yaw control. You can either map yaw to a different control input or I highly recommend purchasing the Thrustmaster flight pedals. I use this setup for Elite Dangerous and it's the best flight control system I've ever had. No regrets. Hope this helps and best of luck!

Answer:	Long answer, yes! You can use a program like SPAD or DCSPanels to assign keyboard strokes to each of the buttons! I use mine with Elite Dangerous to control ship systems like lights and landing gear.

Answer:	Yes it works with Xplane 11 very well. Ideal for cessna planes, not as helpful for heavy ones (i.e. Boing or Airbus ones)
