So my Nintendo Switch was getting charged but the joy-cons were not. So thats why I considered getting the charging dock. Plus, I can alternate between joy-cons to prolong usage of all my products. Answer:	That's dependant on your power source, not the cable for USB-C. A car charger will charge any device very slow because it cannot deliver enough power fast enough. The same goes for your external battery. Some externals are capable of fast charging and some are not. The cable won't cause any trouble over any other USB-A to USB-A, bit out will penalty always be slower than a USB-C to USB-C cable.

Question:	Does it overheat switch console
Answer:	I was a bit concerned with overheating like some people had mentioned the switch isnt suppose to have its screen on while charging, but while i did experience a warmer than normal switch, nothing dangerously hot. I did lower my brightness to about half or a little over half to allow for it to charge while i use it. The charge is not as fast as an ac adapter, but again, id rather have a slow charge and it still be charging than to overheat, not be able to use it and plug it in when battery depletes again.
Question:	Will this allow me to play the switch while it's charging with my iphone brick? (because some cords won't let me charge and play at the same time
Answer:	Yes, but the Amps of your power source need to be at least 2 to actually gain power while playing. If its 1 amp you will slowly drain the switch's charge, however that will significantly increase your possible play time. Hope this helps!
