Answer:	Yes it should work. The 2DS plays regular DS games. It also plays 3DS games as well. The only thing is if you are playing a 3DS game you can only play it in 2 D form. Also if you are playing a 3DS game the battery life of the 2DS system goes down faster. Hope this helps!!
