Answer:	I have a clear Hori case on my XL and it fits right in. I will say that sliding it in and out is a bit tight but I'm happy about this for the same reason I'm happy the pocket openings face away from the zipper. Because of this the games and the 3DS wont fall out if you don't have it zipped which is great if you want to take your 3DS out while still wearing the TakeCase via the included lanyard.
