It holds our Fire 10 very securely, but you do really have to stretch the corners a lot and make sure the Velcro square is centered on the back of the case.

Answer:	I have it in a budget build and is humming right along, if you are concerned about it frying your components, get an EVGA PSU instead.

Answer:	It will easily power an 8 core processor. I have this paired with a fx 8300 cpu. This cpu is considered an 8 core. I also have a gtx 970 graphics card being powered. Some people might want to get a 700 watt, but I would not unless I upgraded my graphics to something that consumes more power. There are some articles on how having to strong a power supply can potentially hurt your PC, so I'd say that 600 watts is probably the sweet spot for people with ok graphics cards. It's not the cpu power that you have to worry about as graphics cards are usually where pcs struggle for wattage.

Answer:	I don't think it would slide. If you hit keypad really hard, I guess you could knock it over. I don't do a lot of typing on it. I generally just get a movie started or use it for videoing.

I have a cat that loves to wipe anything off of a flat surface but she never seemed to want to tackle the iPad when it was on the end table next to my chair. I have my stand on a small riser that my husband built and therefore, it is not actually on a table that she can get any leverage on.
