I'm guessing the other JRPGs and other games that had saves on the original console do in fact save as well. However, games that wouldn't save in the 1990s, such as Mortal Kombat, you can't save. |

| Answer: | It should play most original Genesis games. The sound is another issue. Rocket Knight Adventures is playable, but the music is simply atrocious and are all over the place. It's not just a half step up or down... it's EVERYWHERE. Gauntlet 4 CRAWLS on mine, and is nearly unplayable. Sonic works ok, but the music is identically as bad as the Sonic 1 installed into the system. Having only 1 audio jack doesn't help either considering the Genesis had stereo sound. Played a few other games, so far it's not a bad system... but it's not perfect either. For a trip down memory lane I wouldn't spend more than $30 or $40 on it. |

| Answer: | Sega saturn is the best system for 2D games. It even had an amazing 3D game, Panzer Dragoon Saga. There are a lot of world class games on this system and its one of my favorite consoles to collect. Other consoles have a lot of good games too but even more crappy games. But most of the RPGs and action games are 2D and good quality. This is the time when the beginning of the 3D garbage games that everybody hates begin to emerged. Most of the games on Saturn are collectible now so its hard to get them especially in mint condition. My personal favorites are Shining force 3 part1...(2...3...jp only) and the Premium disc, Daytona USA, Virtua cop, house of the dead, Nights, SF vs marvel, and many more imports too. |

| Answer: | Yes and no. There's a battery in the back that you have to change but those usually don't last long and you lose saved data. But you can buy a memory card. Official sets one and a better version called "memory card plus" with that i belive you can also play import games? But that's what you need to buy if you are looking to save. |
