| Answer: | I would not say it is completely waterproof. The connection box is not well sealed, therefore if the panel was underwater damage would probably occur. Under normal usage - rain, splash etc., I would say it is virtually waterproof. My panel has experienced severe thunderstorms without any issues. |

| Answer: | The output of the PV panel are 2 wires. You need to provide your own connectors at the PV panel leads. FYI, after placing the PV panel under the sun, we used a voltmeter to measure the output voltage. Under no load, it produces + or - 20 volts. I'm not to sure if you could put some type of rheostat between the PV panel and your device that you want to power to limit the output voltage to 12 VDC. |

Turned out the frame has holes drilled in it already and used these holes instead of the brackets to mount to an aluminum backing/mounting plate. Worked perfect and the panel is keeping my 12V marine battery fully charged every day, even though it only gets about two hours of direct sunlight each day due to where it is located. |

| Answer: | I sold my square one and bought another rectangular one. Two other people have said 17" and 16 15/16". I would go with that. If you are building an array as I am, I would get the panels first, then design the rack. There may be some mfg. deviations but these are pretty well built panels so I doubt it will be much, if any. My array will be 5 20w. rectangular panels with about an inch between them for cooling and vacuum relief. |
