Answer:	Hi Pat! Thank you for your question. That is a great use for the Room2. Many parents to use this for traveling and others keep it at family members houses. This is a great for sleeping in too with the soft 100% cotton sheet and padded mattress. I found it especially helpful to keep one at our in-laws house who didn't really have a baby proof room. The Room2 is extremely spacious yet it can be easily put in a corner of a room to save space in your house. I hope this helps! We cannot suggest using 3rd party items like pads or other mattresses. The Room2 already includes a Mattress, Waterproof cotton sheet and carry case, so it should include everything you would need.

Answer:	The bottom of this is a drawstring you pull tight. To truly protect from any bugs you would need something with safety zippers that zipper completely shut. A few notes about scorpions: Scorpions prefer dark quiet, crevices to rest. In the home, you're most likely to find them inside your shoes. They often rest on the brick of your fireplace because brick or tile is cooler than wood or carpet. They will crawl up the sides of the couch between the cushions, too. To protect your child, don't store this in the bottom of the closet, choose a high shelf. Always remove the mattress pad and shake both part very well.

Answer:	It’s firm enough for a newborn to rest comfortably. For an older baby/toddler I fold a small fleece and put it under the sheet for added softness. I recommend a bath towel under sheet for newborn because the mattress does feel cold with just the sheet

• Answer: I wash all of my sun shirts in warm water. I don't think it matters; the fabric won't shrink.

• Answer: UPF is normally achieved by how tight the weave of the fabric is, it shouldn't diminish out unless there is excessive wear and tear
