Answer:	Yes, but balls with lower-profile seams will work best, because seams that stick out can affect accuracy. Heater does make leather baseballs with low-profile seams specifically for the Heater machines. But regular baseballs will work.

Answer:	The Basehit pitches fastballs, grounders, and pop flies using real baseballs and lite baseballs. The Slider pitches fastballs, curveballs, grounders, and pop flies using lite balls - not real baseballs. Both machines use 9" balls which are the size of regulation sized baseballs.

Answer:	Yes they can! Just be aware that baseballs with high seams will vary in speed and accuracy because the wheel grabs the ball at a different spot each time. I like it because my son can get a game-like feel.

Answer:	This question really is more a generic question than it is specific to any brand welder. If you're giving it half the power it can use. Generally, you can figure you're going to get half the result. So prepared properly and possibly a little bevel, 1/8in would be about max Remember voltage is the pressure or pushing force of the amperage or heat.

Answer:	Probably. We suggest you look closely at the pictures of the back-end connections and compare them to what you are now using.

Answer:	I do not know for sure. You maybe able to determine from the photos I put in my review. I was able to change my two wire trigger to a three wire so I could reverse the polarity of ground so I can flux weld, or gas weld. I took a chance, and it worked for me. Once I started cutting the leads I knew there was no returning the gun, but I was pretty sure I could make it work, and it did.
