Question: How compactly can you fold/roll it up? Basically-- how much space would it take up in a suitcase (if you removed the pillow
Answer: It would still take up quite a bit of space. It's not thin... It's not too thick either but if you roll it up the way they want you to its the width they list and about 16 inches round. It would be smaller if u folded it flat but it would take up the size of a carry on. You wouldn't be able to fit much else. Hope that helps. It's extremely well made. I love it.

Answer: The material can be embroidered on, unfortunately we do not offer that service.
Question: The tag says to wash front load machine only. Has anyone washed it in a top loader? Was it ok or did it get ruined
Answer: I have washed my son's nap mat in a top loader at least once per week for the past 2 years. I use a normal wash, hot water, and dry it with high heat. I wash the pillow insert each week as well in the same load. The only thing that's deteriorated is the tag. My son loves his nap mat, and so do his teachers. I love the ease and durability.
Question: I want something to use when staying out at a party for my toddler son to sleep until we are ready to leave - should I buy this or the sleeping bag
Answer: I would say this is very similar to a sleeping bag except that it doesn't zip up. And this has a pillow attached and therefore has a place for your toddler to lay his head. I don't think a sleeping bag would. If I were your situation I would absolutely use this.

The design idea is that the nap mat rolls up conveniently into that top sleeve, with the mat itself featuring thick enough fill throughout the whole mat, that make it comfortable enough to be used w/out an added pillow. However, you definitely can add your own pillow or blanket on hand to stuff the sleeve with. Answer: I asked my daughter to measure the owl mat we bought. It is 44 x 18.5 inches including the attached pillow. The fabric has held up well and laundered well. However, the velcro straps holding it together when rolled are way too short which keeps them from staying attached. They need to be much longer on both sides and could be wider as well. The quality of the velcro's grip is poor too and stopped holding tightly soon after we got it. After all this time they barely hold at all. Hope this is helpful.

Question: Is the entire inside of this lined with fleece, or just the top blanket
Answer: Just the top blanket.

Answer: You can machine wash and throw it in the dryer. Take the pillow out first. It washes up great.
Question: How think is the mat
Answer: The mat is pretty thick compared to others. I work in childcare and have seen tons of nap mats. This is one of my favorites!!
Question: How thick is the mat? I am considering an Olive brand, which is 2" thick. But this one is on sale
Answer: The wildkin nap mat is about 1 1/4" thick on it's own and if you add in the blanket that goes over top it's about 1 1/2"thick. My 2yr old son likes it and seems comfortable on it.
