Answer:	Technically yes. A standard wash may cause the internal insulating fill material to clump together during the spin cycle. This will cause the bag to be uncomfortable and loss it's ability to properly keep you warm. I've ruined sleeping bags this way years ago as a kid. My front loading washer machine was a "hand washing" setting selection with the option to turn the spin cycle off. I wash the bag twice (once with the soap reservoir about one-third full of HE Laundry Soap and a second hand wash cycle with just water to ensure the sleeping bag is properly rinsed. Use cold water on both washing cycles. Finally, let the bag drip dry on a drying line outdoors or indoors in your laundry room or garage. Make sure to turn the bag inside out after 8 to 12 hours of drying so it can finish drying properly. This washing/drying method keeps my sleeping bags from being ruined. Use a quad size washing machine at your local laundry mat to wash your sleeping bag(s) if your current washing machine is too small to handle this sleeping bag. Air dry on line at home. A tower fan pointed at the sleeping bag while it's on the drying line will help the bag dry much faster. Sleeping bag liners are a great way to help it stay clean. Answer:	This would keep you more than warm at 30 degrees. I think it's comfortable down to 20 degrees, possibly 10 degrees if you sleep on the warmer side. I sleep cold so I upgraded to a Teton that is rated -35 which keeps me mostly comfortable in cold weather. But my kids sleep in these Teton 0 degrees and stay warm enough. I really like these bags and they work well in cold weather. We have 2 of these and have used them for quite a few colder weather camp outs. I probably wouldn't go below 10 with them, but they'll keep you comfortable enough around 20 and above. Your face will get cold but the rest of your body will stay comfortable inside the bag.

Answer:	I believe so. it is made as a double anyway where you sleep between the liner and the bag. The liner would be on the bottom when it is cool and the bag would be on the bottom when its hot. this is the way it is made. I have 2 Teton Sports air mattress that hook and loop together and provide quite a bit of insulation on the bottom. a pretty bulky bag if backpacking, but if the other person carries the tent, it works. It does take a lot of room in the backpack, i have to open the bottom shelf to make it fit.

Answer:	In thinking about it, I don't recall exactly, but they do zip together and the little hood parts are both at the top, under where you lay your head.

Question:	is this the newer recon generation 2 level 3 bag
Answer:	Technically No. A standard wash may cause the internal insulating fill material to clump together during the spin cycle. This will cause the bag to be uncomfortable and loss it's ability to properly keep you warm. I've ruined sleeping bags this way years ago as a kid. My front loading washer machine was a "hand washing" setting selection with the option to turn the spin cycle off. I wash the bag twice (once with the soap reservoir about one-third full of HE Laundry Soap and a second hand wash cycle with just water to ensure the sleeping bag is properly rinsed. Use cold water on both washing cycles. Finally, let the bag drip dry on a drying line outdoors or indoors in your laundry room or garage. Make sure to turn the bag inside out after 8 to 12 hours of drying so it can finish drying properly. This washing/drying method keeps my sleeping bags from being ruined. Use a quad size washing machine at your local laundry mat to wash your sleeping bag(s) if your current washing machine is too small to handle this sleeping bag. Air dry on a paracord line at your home. A tower fan pointed at the sleeping bag while it's on the drying line will help the bag dry much faster. Sleeping bag liners are a great way to help it stay clean. They are sold in cotton, satin, silk and various other materials. I find the silk bags are extremely comfortable. The sporting goods section at your local Walmart should sell cotton sleeping bag liners next to the sleeping bag section. Hope this helps you out. Question:	Is this old stock? The new bags are suppose to include removable mosquito net
Answer:	Not! The bag I just received is flannel colored but doesn't feel like old school cotton flannel.... and it is not that. The tag on bag says 80% cotton, 100% polyester filling, and poly [thin] ripstop exterior. The flannel isn't the soft, cozy, fuzzy feel of flannel sheets. Unless those sheets were part ploy as well.

Answer:	well, through a quirk of fate and stocking levels I actually received a recon 4. I am 5' 6" and 175 lbs. this bag is plenty roomy for me and I have to really stretch to reach bottom. I have not measured it other than that.

Answer:	Bag weighs about 3 lbs. Moisture resistant not moisture proof.very rugged. Have had mine about 2 years used on more than 20 camping trips. Still like new.

Answer:	Yes. It's a generation 2 and level 3 I think it's 23 degree graded bag.
Question:	Are the pillows attached to the bags or can they be separated
Answer:	The RECON sleeping bags have been manufactured without the mosquito netting for several years. The new generation (GEN II) was designed to be wider at the shoulders, and could no longer accommodate the netting. We are going to be releasing a RECON Bivy Cover that is designed to be used as an outer layer for the sleeping bag, and that will have mosquito netting.
