Question:	Why difference in ages recommended and manufacturers recommendation? One says 5 months the other says 5 years old
Answer:	We bought the large for our, at the time 3 year old now 6, and are pleased with it thus far and would recommend. I cannot comment on the small on how well it works versus the large. The only advise I’d give is to make sure your kids are not too close to the toy when it comes out of the water. Our large stingray either had a design flaw or something but the only way it would glide in greater distances is to flip it over and have the belly facing up. When we let it go what you would think is the right way, the stingray would shoot to the top of the water and leap out. Luckily this has not happened to our son but the wings are plastic and could do damage if your child was too close and the wing cuts their cheek or even eye. Also note that once it hits the wall of the pool it will make its way to the top and also leap out of the water. Which is why I caution any child to be too close to it to not experience any injury.
Question:	Would you recommend the small or large Stingrays for a 4 and 6 year old
Answer:	Same exact item. the mini is just smaller. Same features.
Question:	How does the performance of the stingray compare with the mini stingray
Answer:	Just the buoyancy in combination with the plastic wings makes it move. Wings can be adjusted to make it turn or go straight. It travels farther the deeper you start it. It will travel up the side of a pool and pop out of the water if it runs into a wall. We took it to Florida on vacation and it was quite popular around the pool! It’s really pretty cool! Even adults were having a good time with it!
Question:	what cause these things to move other than buoyancy
Answer:	Hmmmm..... I seen ages 8 and up on the box, which should be visable if you look at the picture. Also I thought the seller had ages 6 and up listed.? My 5 year old grandson loves this RC car!

Answer:	Yes, basically. It drops down a little bit into the water, but it really does drive around on the water! We tried it in our swimming pool. Super fun.

Answer:	I just did an experiment to find out the answer for you. I filled a tall bucket with water. At first they seemed to float upright (with tails still touching bottom) a little when the water was shallow, and a bit of current from the water from the faucet was moving around. After it was full, a good 5-6" above their upright standing height of their heads, the dolls settled horizontal on the bottom. Hope this helps you in your decision. They are cute little dolls, with movable arms like Barbie type dolls.
