Answer:	The noodles are shiny on the surface. There is nothing to remove. By the way I love mine!

Answer:	It does offer resistance. I utilize my noodle during my water aerobics class. For more resistance I tie the noodle in a knot which doesn't affect the structure or function in any negative way. Hope this is helpful.

Answer:	If the width of the inflatable noodle is comprable to the width of a standard foam noodle and can be bent into a U shape, I don't see why not but I have not tried this.

Answer:	It does not weigh 15 pounds. My shipping weight was 10.4 ounces.

Answer:	They have more buoyancy than noodles with the hole in it,so I cannot see why they would no work. I can tell you that they will make for a better seat because when you get out of the water there will not be water running out all the tubes making for a drier boat carpet or deck.
