| Answer: | Think about 20 pounds, however, do not PURCHASE this! Very unsafe for a child. I stay in pool right by my grandson’s side and a few times he pushed his weight forward and it easily tips forward and pushes child’s face into water. The seat does not have the right flexibility to allow child to lift back and get their balance. I sent mine back! |

| Answer: | I would say probably not. My son is 5 months old and 13 lbs with excellent head control but he hated it. He was just too small to fit into it properly. Even if we held him under the bum to lift him so his head was not submerged, he still just didn't really like it. Also, it's not just about size, developmentally, most 4 month olds are probably still too young to really enjoy the water the way an older baby would. My son loves bathtime, but just wasn't quite ready for this toy. Expect to hold up a 4 month old the whole time they're in this and expect them to pretty much only be able to lay there. |

| Answer: | I don't think so. It's got a mesh area for baby's legs to go through like a chair and it might tear from or catch the claws. I think it might be a little too big for and awkward fitting for a small dog too. It's also an inflatable item, but I'd imagine the outer covering would protect that from claws. |
