Answer:	The canopy isn't fully adjustable. It connect with a clip in the back and sides. If you undo the back it stay it the middle...that's it. You can always turn the whole float to keep baby in shade as needed.

Answer:	Yes there are holes and I think they are good sized. I haven't had it out yet this year. We had a 9 month old in it last summer and plan to use it again. It is very well made. I wouldn't leave a child in it without standing right next to them in the water. A very active child could lean forward and tip head first. It's made for babies to float, not learn to swim. Answer:	There is a mesh screening between the inter and outer float rings which water will pool in and baby can splash around a bit. But it's unlikely that the baby will be able to reach outside the float rings to the actual pool/lake water. Hope this helps!! I loved this product and can't wait to start using it agin this summer!

Answer:	I don't see a suggested weight limit but it is for 9 to 24 mos old if that helps.

Answer:	I would say probably not. My son is 5 months old and 13 lbs with excellent head control but he hated it. He was just too small to fit into it properly. Even if we held him under the bum to lift him so his head was not submerged, he still just didn't really like it. Also, it's not just about size, developmentally, most 4 month olds are probably still too young to really enjoy the water the way an older baby would. My son loves bathtime, but just wasn't quite ready for this toy. Expect to hold up a 4 month old the whole time they're in this and expect them to pretty much only be able to lay there.
