Answer:	To my recollection it is 4 lbs. I purchased two of these large sized and I love them...Easy to wheel, pack and find among all the others.

Answer:	I’ve only used the suitcase once. The wheels are on the small side, but so far, so good. The suitcase is lightweight. It is not as sturdy as a hard sided type. Mine got a few black marks on it en route, most of which I could scrub off.

Answer:	I see the original post is quite old, but for further questions... I just returned from a International trip where I used 2 of these bags fully loaded with 20 kgs. / 44 lbs. My limit was 50 lbs and neither my domestic carrier nor my international carrier batted an eye at the size. I flew Japan Airline and Co-shared my domestic flight with American Airlines. The ticket counter even joked I had could have carried 6 additional pounds in each bag. On my international flights they weighed the bags all at once. However, if you are on a strict airline that charges for everything, these are over the published sizes and could charge over size fees, but if they are under weight, they may look the other way.

Answer:	There are written instructions included in each case. It requires a ball point pen or similar implement to push the detent so that the code may be adjusted.

Answer:	When you receive it it will be all set to zeros and the zippers will be in the locked position. Slide the little square that has a keyhole in it and says tsa007 on it the right 1/4 inch and it will pop out the zipper locks. Then you can get inside to retrieve the instructions on how to change the lock. Amazon should include this in their product description page.

Answer:	I have had this set of spinners for 2 1/2 years, in its time it has been to over 30 countries, hundreds of flights, living out of these suitcases for approx 3-4 months a year and the 20” carry on handle just broke the other day after a 3 week trip. - It’s the bag I use the most frequently and I’d say that is one hell of a run. I’m back here to buy another 20” spinner to replace mine because its track record with me personally speaks for itself. I will say that I hope the handle on this spinner is more ridged - Just my two cents on a topic I know better than most anyone.

Answer:	The large is appx. 26" by 17" and the small is 18" by 13". The closed dimensions (without unzipping the extra space is appx. 10" for the large and 7" for the small. Both are quite generous.
Question:	does this meet airlines carry on policies
Answer:	Unfortunately, it depends on what airline you take! It used to meet standards; now they are suggesting new ones, especially for non US-carriers. Check what your airline allows. We bought this because it was one inch smaller than the smallest carry-on we owned. It fit easily in the overhead compartment for our United flight. NOTE: we did not overfill it - it becomes about an inch wider where the zipper is if you can't squeeze it shut.
