| Answer: | There is definitely some would under the foam padded outside but I can not tell you the quality of the wood. It seems cheap and hollow. When I pick up the beam I hear something rattling on the inside. Using a piece of lumber would work but you would need to add the padding on the outside. If you used the wood it would be solid and more durable. This beam is shaped like a trapezoid and a piece of lumber is a rectangle. I think a 4”x6”x8” would give you a wider base and make it more sturdy. Hopefully this helps. |

| Answer: | I leave it up all the time. You can put it away, but each piece connects together with Velcro. You would have to put Velcro to Velcro to put it away ( Velcro to Velcro is the way it comes). I do not know the durability of the Velcro would be each day it is put up and away. Buying a corner or wall one might help and look at other ones. They have have different kinds, sizes and pieces. I chose this one because day care centers have something like this one. I hope this helps. |
