Guess what, these balls are barely 2-1/4" and much smaller than what they claimed the size should be. I measured the other brand of 2.5" balls, they were exactly 2.5". I am no expert in balls, but I do know the larger the balls, the less balls I would need to fill the space. I decided to return these click n play balls.

Answer:	We put 100 of these tiny click n play balls in ours and wouldn't even cover 1/2 of the floor. That meant I would need 2~300 balls to just cover the bottom. I finally bought a pack of the 150 pcs Large 3.1" Crush-Proof non-PVC Phthalate Free Plastic Ball Pit Balls for $40 and they are much bigger, brighter and filled the playpen with almost 2 layers making 6" deep. I figured if I fill the pack n play with 2 layers of these click n play balls, I would need at least 300 more balls like 400 total, not only costing twice as much, but that only creat about 4" deep of balls. BTW, these click n play balls are not 2.5", but 2.25" and I did measured them with a digital caliper.

You'll constantly be re picking up the balls if u get this one because there's two small holes on both sides with no way to close them so balls just go straight out, it shows the white string on one side which i could never even get to work because the directions don't tell u how to rig it up and I tried and my hubby tried and it just wouldn't work.
