User questions & answers
Question: | The contents listed above for 5th edition state that there are 16 road pieces. The 4th edition lists 60. I assume this is an error |
Answer: | We are working on making replacement cups available soon! In the meantime, contact us directly and we can help. |
Question: | What were the earlier editions of Catan like that they had to make more editions? Is the 5th a big improvement? How |
Answer: | If you play with only two people, it's no longer a game but more of an activity. I played it a few times just me and my wife and we both had fun, but it certainly lacks that thrill of competition when you play against another team. If you're looking to only play this with two players, I would not get it. |
Question: | On a different site it says you can play with 2 players here its says 3 which is it |
Answer: | Depends on their maturity level. I have a 12 & a 13 year old that play the game. They loved it from the get go and were able to learn and play the game very quickly. For younger players than that, if they seem to struggle you could probably handpick the cards so its easier for them to give clues or guess the clues given. But, like I said, my 12 & 13 year old learned it in one play and love playing it. Besides, this game can be played team vs team or all in the same team (cooperative). I hope this helps a little. Have fun! :-) |
Question: | Is this version different from Settlers of Catan? Is it an appropriate starter game |
Answer: | We just played it at my twins' 14th birthday party with two 5-person teams. It works best with teams of 4-8 people. Much bigger than that, and the caucusing part of the game gets unruly. |

Play the popular Scrabble game the classic way as you take on opponents head-to-head, for a challenging and fun time whether you're a beginner or an expert.
Every Letter Counts

Don't forget the bonus points for placing letters on premium squares. Double letter. Triple word. It's all about playing words on the high-scoring hotspots to get ahead. Played a Q on a triple-letter score? Your score just got a lot bigger. Use all your 7 tiles in one turn, and score a whopping 50 points in addition to your word score. Knowing the rules and a few tricks will help you to score more points and improve your chances of winning. At the end of the game, the player with the highest score wins.
Many Ways to Play
Whether you love to play board games one-on-one, or have a more social streak, Scrabble is the game for you. You can choose to play solo and rely on your own strategy and smarts, or turn up the excitement and play in teams to brainstorm high-scoring words. Or play finish-line Scrabble so mixed-level players can join in the fun by competing for a score that you decide on – beginners can win by scoring fewer points than experts. Will calculated strategy prevail, or could the luck of the draw win you the game? You never know, but any way you play, this popular word game keeps the challenges fresh and fun.

User questions & answers
Question: | How many cards per box and are there expansion packs |
Answer: | 6 double sided cards (they are boards really, not cards). I haven't seen an expansion pack- you could probably photocopy the board and laminate them though. |
Question: | what age group is this for |
Answer: | My son loved it around 4-5 but at 7 he has lost interest. He’s on to more complicated games now. |
Question: | Since here are images on the tiles, would you say that this game will help little ones learn to read words? I'm afraid they'll just stick to the image |
Answer: | Yes, seeing the letters and the picture does help little children learn to read words. You can reinforce the letter-word association by quickly reviewing each tile after the game has ended. Cover either the photo or the letters and ask the child to identify what is covered, but don't let this review detract from the fun of the game. If you take a peek at alphabet books for little children, you will see a picture that begins with the letter on that particular page, helping the child learn the sounds of letters. |
Question: | What is the difference between zingo word builder game and thinkfun's what's gnu game? thank you |
Answer: | I don't have the game What's Gnu. Based upon the description, they seem very similar. The different seems to be that Zingo Word Builder has three words per card and is played more like a challenge game. What's Gnu seems to be true world building, card by card. I purchased Zingo because I have multiple Zingo games in my classroom. Once the students learned to play one game, they could easily figure out how to play Zingo 1-2-3, Word Builder, Sight Word, etc. Hope this helps. |

How to Play
A typical game of Qwirkle lasts about 45 minutes--longer when you're first learning how to play--and players will likely catch on to the rules in no time at all. The game can be set up anywhere, although a large tabletop is best to accommodate the generous number of tiles. The only other thing you'll need is a pencil and paper to keep track of everyone's point count. Each tile has an illustration on the back (circle, eight-point star, four-point star, square, clover, or diamond). Each of these symbols appears in six different colors (red, yellow, orange, green, blue, and purple). In total, the game has three tiles each of the 36 possible color-symbol combinations. To help make sure you don't lose any tiles in between games, Qwirkle comes with a drawstring storage pouch which is also used during game play.
Straightforward, Easy-to-Follow Rules
As in Scrabble, the game starts with players drawing their own "hand" of six tiles. The player with the most tiles that share something in common (color or symbol) plays their pieces and wins points. And so it goes until the pieces make up a giant grid. One rule adults will likely need to reiterate to little ones is that duplicate tiles aren't allowed. For instance, if someone has three diamonds, and two of them are green, they can only play one of those green diamonds on a turn. As play continues and the stakes get higher, younger kids may need some help deciding where to build to maximize their points. To keep younger childfren engaged, parents can distribute half the number of tiles to start. The game is over when all the tiles have been played and all the points have been tallied.
Qwirkle Cubes
Qwirkle Cubes combines favorite Qwirkle game play with the added excitement found in dice-rolling games. Players can roll their cubes for a chance to get the colors and shapes they want to score more points. Complete a line of 6 tiles with no duplicate attributes to score a “Qwirkle!”
Qwirkle Bonus
Qwirkle fans asking for tile racks will love the Qwirkle Bonus Pack! 4 racks display and organize each player’s hand of tiles during play. The pack also includes a score pad and colorful Qwirkle pencil to tally points.
Qwirkle Rummy
Qwirkle Rummy is the fun family card game based on MindWare’s award-winning game! Players create sets of cards by matching suits or colors and laying them face up on the table. Any player can add to any set or switch cards in the sets but the real payoff happens when a set of all 6 shapes or colors is completed and a Qwirkle is scored. A little bit of strategy and a little bit of luck is all it takes — as long as you keep your eyes on the cards and your mind in the game!

User questions & answers
Question: | Can only two people play this enjoyably |
Answer: | Yes and no - in clue you play against each other moving around a board and making guesses at person-place-weapon in an attempt to solve the crime first. Information is kept secret and you have to be in the right place and the right time. In Mysterium you win or lose as a team. For the first, longest part of the game, you are each trying to figure out a person-place-weapon assigned just to you (each person has been assigned their own unique person-place-weapon combo). There is no board to move around, no race to the finish - you simply need to all guess your combos before the night ends. The ghost hands out 1-7 cards with dream like pictures (think Dixit, but more complex and darker theme) to each player - this is the player's "dream"/"vision" - each player has 1-7 cards each turn that relate only to what *they* are trying to figure out that turn (first turn everyone is trying to figure out who their person is, when they solve that they move on to place and then to weapon). The cards are public and everyone may advise each other on what person-place-weapon they think any given "dream" is suggesting. After 7 turns (or sooner if everyone has guessed their combos), one of the player combos becomes THE combo - the true murder in the true location with the actual weapon. All the combos are laid out on the table and the ghost gives out one shared dream of 3 cards - one for the person, one for the place, one for the weapon (it's a little more complex...) - the players each vote on which their unique combos the ghost is trying to say is the TRUE one. If the majority guesses right, everyone wins. If not, everyone loses. So, as you can see, Clue may be the closest comparison, but it is not all that similar to Clue. |
Question: | Would this game be good with 8-13 year olds |
Answer: | The questions are more for adults and the answers are more risque. Lots of fun if you have fun people who are willing to take a walk on the wild side!! Lol |
Question: | Does this game work as a party game |
Answer: | Depends on the ages of people playing. The cards themselves are clean but adult with dirty minds can be challenging |
Question: | What is the number of unique game states that can be created at the start of each game |
Answer: | Amazon |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is it suitable for adults |
Answer: | It's great for adults. Awesome for young and very learning for kids... |
Question: | Are the Latice Hawaii tile racks hollow or solid? Do they look as nice as in the photos |
Answer: | The Latice Hawaii racks are 100% solid in translucent blue. This is a nice contrast to the old Latice racks which were hollow (and looks great like in the photos!). |
Question: | Can it be played by two |
Answer: | We play two player. Love it. And our little niece and nephew loves playing the game. Just a really good all around game. And a really nice side note...our adult son who is color deficient can play this as the colors have a design on each tile that is different with each color. Plus! |
Question: | What does this have to do with Hawaii |
Answer: | I used to work in both Hawaii and Tahiti and during my travels was inspired by the myths of Pele and the Mo'o (and how Pele ultimately outsmarted the Mo'o): "For eons, Pele fought Mo’o for dominion over Hawai’i. Mo’o summoned the elements and the animals of Hawai’i to create an insurmountable challenge. Do you have what it takes to become the champion of Hawai’i?" While Latice Hawaii is an abstract game, the theme draws from Hawaiian themes in the use of sun/wind/water, the icons on the tiles (with the exception of the feather which was originally intended as a conch shell!) and even certain aspects of the gameplay (e.g. that there's no significant "griefing" where you're directly rewarded for "taking things away" from other players). I'd note that it was only after playing the game with a number of Hawaiian natives (and through their encouragement) that I came around to using "Hawaii" in the name (I was reluctant given that I wasn't born in Hawaii myself, I only wish I had been!). Anyway, I hope this all makes sense, thanks again for checking out the game! --Brent |

User questions & answers
Question: | Do you need the base game or can you just play with nsfw savage edition |
Answer: | You can play with just Savage. |
Question: | How do you win in this game |
Answer: | You win the game by being the first player to discard all of their cards. The object of the game is to ask players questions you think they will say “YES” to. |
Question: | How do you play |
Answer: | You have to give an answer and the person who you think is most accurate wins that question. |
Question: | Would this be suitable to play with a group of daughters and moms |
Answer: | Honestly my mother would have taken me to a doctor for a mental health check if I had suggested we play this game together and that's with a pretty darn close relationship where we did talk about sex on occasion. I'd say no unless you have a EXTREMELY close reltionship and you both find sex very easy to talk about, because the majority of the questions are sex based. |

Question: | I saw on a youtube video explaining the game of Taco vs Burrito that there is an expansion pack. Where can one buy the expansion pack |
Answer: | Great Question - The Expansion Pack was for Kickstarter although we may be selling it via Amazon in the coming months. Thanks |
Question: | Is it made in USA |
Answer: | Thanks so much for asking! The product is made in China and I'd love to give you a little background that probably is too much information but thought some people might be interested as to how a 7-year-old made manufacturing decisions. There are card game manufactures in the US and most have extremely high minimum order quantities so when Alex (the then 7-year-old inventor) was first starting out with his Kickstarter he couldn't meet their minimum order quantities. We found an amazing company in China (The company's name is Bang Wee - Alex loved the name) who was willing to do smaller quantities and they were super supportive even though they knew he was only 7 years old. Since that initial Kickstarter the game has really taken off and Alex can order the larger quantities that a US manufacturer requires but he would still be a small fish for manufacturers who often work with big toy companies. He also knows that without Bang Wee he might not have ever been able to bring this product to life and they have been so good to him so he's decided to stay with that original manufacturer...although we make a point to review that every year and this year will go back to some US manufacturers to see if we can find a good fit. Also, finding manufacturers who work well with kids will be key (Alex is 9 now) as many people are not used to working with kids in manufacturing and thus Bang Wee has really shined in that regard. Also with the potential tariffs going in effect this month, Alex is learning a ton of about international trade which is such a great experience for him too. I mean how better to understand how tariffs work than to pay them yourself. We will update this Q&A if we do switch to a US Manufacturer. |

Be the first player to play every tile on your rack to win! Reinforces STEM skills like sequencing, pattern recognition and planning. Rummikub includes 106 high-quality plastic tiles, 4 plastic tile-holder racks, and complete instructions. For 2-4 players, ages 8 and up.

User questions & answers
Question: | I'm trying to decide between this one and the travel set that amazon is also selling. Any suggestions? Thanks |
Answer: | My suggestion is the original is best. |
Question: | does this set come with tile holders |
Answer: | Yes, four plastic tile holders are included. |
Question: | If a meld has 2 jokers , do you have to replace both at the same time |
Answer: | The rules state that to alter any “run” or “of a kind” played on the table that has a joker in it, you must immediately replace it and play that joker with two tiles from your hand. If there are two jokers then you must replace both jokers and immediately play both with two tiles. It doesn’t specify if you need to play two tiles from your hand for each joker or two tiles and both jokers in you play but that you must play both jokers. You can not remove only one joker because that’s altering the play on the board only partially. And you can’t do that. |
Question: | the numbers are chipping and losing color - what is best to repaint them |
Answer: | Permanent magic markers. I played with my elderly mother and her neighbors for years. They couldn't distinguish the yellow tiles very well so they painted over the yellow with a green magic marker - probably a Sharpie. Lasted for years. If the colors start chipping on yours, just keep painting with Sharpie or magic marker. |

Rummikub by Pressman
It's really no surprise that Rummikub is so popular - it has all the elements that make a great game: it's easy to learn and fast moving, it's different every time it's played, it combines luck and strategy, and it changes quickly so every player has a chance to win until the very end. Players take turns placing numbered tiles in runs and groups, rummy style. The 'board' continually changes as players adjust the tiles on the table. Be the first player to play every tile on your rack to win.
Easy to learn basics
The goal is to be the first player to use all the tiles in your rack by creating sets on the table. Each set must have at least 3 tiles. Sets can be in groups (at least 3 of the same number in different colors) or runs (3 or more tiles with consecutive numbers in the same color).
Combines luck and strategy
Using at least one tile from their own rack, players try to lay as many tiles as possible on the table by forming new sets and rearranging or adding on to existing sets. Existing sets can be manipulated in many ways but must follow the rules for groups and runs.
Jokers add excitement
Jokers can be used as any color and number to complete a set. On future turns, a Joker can be retrieved from a set on the table by a player who can replace it with a tile of the same number and color the Joker represents.
Winning the game
With the "board" continually changing as players adjust the tiles on the table, every player has a chance to win until the very end. The first player to clear his/her rack of all tiles wins!

User questions & answers
Question: | Would this make a good gift for a 17 year old boy |
Answer: | I bought it for my twin boys 18th bday party. OMG they are loved it and played multiple rounds...it’s quite entertaining! |
Question: | is there a varation of time when the shocker goes off? 10,30,90, seconds etc. or is is set to go off at the same time each time |
Answer: | The song set to it is 30 seconds, mode one is only music, mode two is music and shock, and mode 3 is only shock no sound. I have seen pranksters set it up on mode 3 and show it off to unsuspecting friends who are checking it out before it goes off in their hands. |
Question: | Is it a good shock? I don’t want it to be a lame vibration i want it to really shock you |
Answer: | You can set it to just a vibration or to the shock, which is NOT just a vibration. All of the times I've played, the person who gets shocked throws it as soon as they're shocked so it's definitely noticeable. |
Question: | Is this plastic? How does it hold up to being dropped |
Answer: | It’s plastic. There is a layer of shock absorbing material. It gets thrown, that’s a given. But it holds up just fine! |
