Answer:	No. It ALMOST works, but the sticks will fall out of the Crazy Fort connectors, and the sticks are much shorter than the Crazy Fort Sticks, so that the building will be unsymmetrical. I tried mixing a large set of these (108 pieces) with a 58 piece Crazy Fort set. Just doesn't quite work.
Question:	Is sand batter than gel

Answer:	They can live in the gel farms. However, I would recommend reading all comments of that particular gel farm. There are some gel farms that have an eating stations that provides a place to add food so the ant can come and gather it's seed. But, there does seem to be some gel farms out there that have some sort of substance that not all the ants like. This is the Harvester Ant, the most recommended ant for ant farms.
Question:	We ordered ants recently and they arrived dead. Is it possible they will be alive or can you ship overnight to Franklin Wisconsin
Answer:	Would you be able to email us directly? We would need to look up the particulars of your order. Normally, ants travel quite well, however, if your day time temps fell below 40 degrees, then that could be why. It was too cold. We do also have heat packs available for below 40 degrees. Answer:	Our ants never took to the gel. So we wasted money on live ants and this habitat,... the saddest thing is that it seems like living beings suffer. The ants suggested are harvester ants, which bite so it isn’t like you want to let them go outside in your habitat. Very disappointing all around.

Answer:	I bought two tubes of ants from one of the (Amazon) recommended sellers AND carefully followed the easy instructions. GREAT RESULTS! Zero fatalities. The ants plumped up and got very busy. Within hours they were digging and within a week we had an impressive tunnel system and they're still going. I was worried that the second tube was too much, but so far so good. I do pop open the air vent more often than recommended (book says weekly; I do daily) but I also stand watch because I almost had 2 or 3 escape...gently brushed them back in - crisis averted. I don't know exactly how many come in the tube.

Question:	can we use ants from our yard in florida we have all kinds of great ants
Answer:	You could add more ants from the same colony if you provided your own ants in the first place. If you added ants from different colonies, there might be an ant war. The first ants might regard the new ants as invaders.
Question:	How long do the ants live? I saw one comment that they only last a couple of months. Is this true
Answer:	Not unless you leave the lid off. During feeding, it may be possible for an ant or two to get out, but I din't run into that problem.
Question:	How long does it take after you order the suggested ants for the ants to arrive
Answer:	Absolutely! Since the gel has an edible element to it it also will mold after some time and a moldy environment is life threatening to ants. I've done a gel farm long ago and experienced this (cant remember how long it took mold to grow though). It's cool to watch them tunnel in the gel but the ants will live much longer (if well cared for) in non-gel habitats.

• My ants are not digging. How long does it take before the ants make tunnels?

Some ants start tunneling immediately. Some take them couple of days. Each one is different, just like human! So please leave them in a quiet place and be patient.

• How long can the ants survive in the farm?

Normally the ants will live for about 2 to 6 months. Queen ant is not a must, but having one in the system will help the colony survive longer.

• Is live ant included? Where can I buy the ants?

No, this ant farm does not include live ants. However, we would give you some suggestions of trustworthy sources. Details are included in our booklet in the package.

• Are the ants for this any special variety?

We suggest harvester ants as they dig great tunnels.

• How many ants does it hold?

We recommend 20-30 ants.

• My ants are not digging. How long does it take before the ants make tunnels?

Some ants start tunnelling immediately. Some take them couple of days. Each one is different, just like human! So please leave them in a quiet place and be patient.

• How long can the ants survive in the farm?

Normally the ants will live for about 2 to 6 months. Queen ant is not a must, but having one in the system will help the colony survive longer.
