Answer:	If your six year old is smaller than average, then yes, he could sit and play the piano. I bought it for my preschooler and she loved it. Keep in mind that the bench is very tiny and the piano sounds more like a toy. So, if you're looking for a scaled-down piano, you'd be better off buying an electronic keyboard since they are very reasonably priced.
