Answer:	The hitting surface is not wood. It is some kind of heavy foam with a plastic coating. Doesn't hurt your hands to hit it. :-)

Answer:	You can purchase a replacement set (Current price $10 (Prime) here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M04YTFG I actually found that the balls which fit my twin nephews' other ball drop toys fit this toy. I purchased these for them and they LOVE that they shake and add an extra dimension to the noise of this toy. The only drawback is that these don't have "green" and they are plastic. Currently they are $8 (Prime) for a set of extras. They do hold up very well though considering the twins fight over them constantly and bang them around with the hammer and any other toy they can find. Question:	What is the hollow instrument and how do you play it? The one with a handle, the ridges, and the slit that is paired with the stick
Answer:	A child can tap stick to hollow instrument, being hollow makes different sounds tapped in different spots. Rub stick up and down ridges similar to playing a wash board. Ideal for two small hands. My grandson and great nephews still go straight for this music box when they are together.
Question:	Is this safe for kids who would chew on it? The metal and paint parts
Answer:	This set is more for ages 4 and up. I wouldn't let a child chew on it as it is made of metal & wood. The paint &/or wood could come off if it were chewed on. It's a great set for older little ones though!
Question:	Could someone tell me how big the maracas are
Answer:	They're not too big, maybe 6-8 inches long with a 2-inch diameter "bulb." Sorry I can't be more precise, but I ordered these for a gift.

Answer:	I also bought this harp for my granddaughter. I would suggest maybe writing to the Haps Happy Harp Company to see if you could purchase a new tuner from them. Look on the box it came in for their address or phone number or find it on the web maybe Amazon can help. Possibly a music store may have one or could help you order another one.
