I would recommend that you wait until the child knows the story of spies, otherwise it wouldn't be used to its full potential and may prevent hazard as a "chew toy".

Answer:	Mine is brand new I had it for only a couple of days and the battery last between 32-38 minutes of record time.
Question:	What is the largest gigabyte sd card this can operate with
Answer:	The seller might know a upper limit, but personally I used 32 and 64 gigabyte cards and they both worked fine.
Question:	How do you charge it
Answer:	Open the pen and insert inside a usb slot
Question:	how long will it record on a full charge, and how many minutes can you record onto a 16 gb card? How large of a card can it support
Answer:	Mine was about 42 minutes on a full charge. And the pen writes the file in 10 minutes blocks and takes up a little over a gig of memory. So you will get about 150 minutes of recording on a 16 gig card

The Camera Provides Excellent Motion Detection. In Motion Detection Mode, When Motion Is Detected , The Video File Will Be Saved Every Three Minutes With 1080P Resolution

Press the power button for 2-3 seconds, and then the blue indicator light will flash twice.

STEP 2: TAKE VIDEOS OR PICTURES

After startup, it will automatically take video(in Mode 2).

After startup, press the button once to take one picture(in Mode 1).

STEP 3: POWER OFF

Press the power button for 2-3 seconds, the yellow indicator will goes out.

Or, it will automatically shut down within 3 min in standby mode.

Switch mode to the Video Mode(Mode 2) to take videos.

Where Is The Micro SD Memory-Card Slot?

The memory-card slot is in the middle of the pen, you will just need to unscrew the camera pen and you will see it. Make sure you have plunged the memory card into the slot before you use it.
