Answer:	Yes, the baby either will like it because of the songs or will be scarred. I think the baby will not have a lot of use of the toy. Wait another year!

Answer:	The toy I received would have worked best for a preschooler IF it had worked properly. However, after I put in the batteries and turned it on, it would roll forward, fall over (on a smooth surface), and turn off. It couldn't be switched on again without putting in new batteries - after being operational less than a minute! Of the 11 robots that I bought for a project, this is the only one that I couldn't get to work properly.
