It goes up to 5 - and that sounds like a 747 idling. I guess if you had it in some remote location and wanted to crank it up, the higher speeds would work. I live in a 1200 sq ft townhome and, set at 45, it keep the upstairs (where it is) at about 45% and the downstairs at about 35%. Perfect for me. I'm really happy with it. No more shocking all the pets with static electricity! |
