Answer:	I'd say they're pretty kid friendly, these are my practice gloves and my 8 year old plays with them all the time. The Lights are removable so i wouldn't let a toddler play with them, but they come with three color presets that are very nice, changing those colors is a little difficult, so if you think your child will have a lasting interest and want to mess with color and strobe settings frequently, i'd spend a little more money on a nicer pair.
