This does have "headless mode" which could be similar to a return home type function. The drone flies in relation to the pilot (i.e. pushing the control stick away from you causes the drone to fly away from you, so pulling the stick toward you would bring it back toward you). Answer:	No, as others have said. You do need to register with the FAA, it's $5 and takes about 5 minutes. You will then need to print out your certificate of registration - keep it with you when flying and put your Certificate Number on your drone (taped or marker pen). There is a "requirement" that you pass a test, however the test is still under development so it doesn't exist. Your Certificate is good for 3 years, so that's the earliest you'd have to worry about any testing to operate your drone as a recreational flyer.
