Question:	Anyone taken MSM for hair growth and did it work
Answer:	Absolutely does. Says so on the box and although it also says non GMO, it does not specify the soy to be organic. That concerns me. You can produce non GMO soy (from non gmo seed) but that does not mean it isn't sprayed with pesticides or it would be called ORGANIC! Which it is NOT organic! the key word. If it were organic, believe me, the company would be stating it loud and clear. I didn't even know it had soy in it when I purchased it, otherwise I would not have!

Answer:	Yeahhhh... I really love these because they’re a powder I can put in a small amount of water and it works immediately. There is another brand I’ve been thinking about trying called Vimerson Health digestive enzymes w probiotics. They get good reviews but it said you take two capsules a day, every day. I don’t want that. These used to be $20 for 20 pkts. Then they raised their price to $60 for same stuff so I quit buying. I’ve been watching the price and they’re finally down to $30 so I got them. I wish they’d come back down so they don’t make me sick at my stomach for financial reasons!

Answer:	I have tried this and had minimal results. But I have had excellent results from higher other Amazon sulfur products. I love sulfur for my active acne, acne scars and rosacea-looking redness. It improves all of these! I now use the powders and mix in my face cream. I've also used the sulfur creams and ointments. Search sulfur, limit search to "natural" and you will see all of the options. I've tried five or so different creams/ointments from Amazon and liked all of them. I only switched to powder, to add to a more moisturizing cream for my dry skin and to use the powder this summer to repel bugs. I've also used the powder in dogs' ears to dry them out, for itchy scalp and skin and made my mom a joint cream for her arthritis that works great. Good luck

Answer:	I do not know where the fruit comes from or if it is from fruit, but I have used this product for two years with great results. Just buy it and use it. Answer:	I don't know about a comparison because I have never tried Jarrow OptiMSM. I can tell you that my knees and hip no longer give me great pain since I started takiing each day the following: one heaping tablespoon of MSM crystals by Kala Health and 3 tablets of Schiff Glucosamine with MSM 1500 mg ea. I had cortizone injections before I started on the above and the shots did little to nothing for my pain. If I sat for any amount of time and got up to walk I couldn't because of the pain in my knees and hip. It's now a thing of the past for me and I'm up to walking 3 miles a day. I can't say what I take would help others and I did doubt MSM's ability to help me when I started but I had to find a nonsurgical solution.

Answer:	Yes, unfortunately for me I originally purchased 2 bags. Thev1st. I committed to taking 2X daily for the 1st month, which I did. I had a history of ulcers, and this did aggravate that condition. Then, I stopped, took my meds for GERD for a month, calmed everything down. I tried for 2 weeks 3 different times. Each with similar results. I did mix mine with Bragg Aplple Cider Vinegar, then wondered if that made sense to mix that acid with the Sulfur. lol Sorry, I had high hopes

What that means is that for commercial use, you cannot extract, isolate or grow the compound. Lately many companies on the web state that their MSM is made from Pine Lignin or Natural wood. This is quite misleading because you can't squeeze MSM from a tree, or pound it out of plants, you would need massive amounts to be able to extract a few pounds of it. Simply its not feasible. Chemical reactions are required to make MSM. All commercially available MSM is created through a reaction of DMSO and hydrogen peroxide. The source of the raw materials are insignificant if MSM is manufactured correctly because the end result is a molecule 100% identical to that found in nature. Current sources of DMSO are created through oxidizing DMS (a combination of sulfur and methyl groups) with elemental oxygen = DMSO. Worldwide supply of MSM uses DMSO that is a by-product from carbon-based fossil fuels, which you must remember are actually old plant and carbon based matter. Within the market there is a misconception that one supply of MSM is more natural than another. This is really not the case because all MSM is created in the same manner with the same raw materials-but the difference comes down to production, and whether distillation or crystallization is used.We use a multi-stage process of distillation, yielding one of the purest forms of MSM on the market today. Answer:	Hi there Evelyn, yes we use pure, course crystal, and because of its purity it does not dissolve quickly in water, if you ever buy an Organic Sulfur that does dissolve fast, its a sure sign there is an additive or anti-clumping agent added to it. In terms of your question, you absolutely can use a blender, spice grinder or mortar and pestle to make the crystals in to a finer powder. If you do this you can also use the powder and mix with things like Aloe Vera Gel to make an excellent spot pain treatment gel, or with shampoo to create an amazing hair thickener and smoothing complex.
