Before painting, you will need to do some fine sanding to rid of glue marks especially at the joints and etc., That is the easy task. The difficult task is to paint the canopy frames. This model offers two challenges - paint the cockpit frames and the nose bubble frames. All can be only satisfactorily accomplished by an experience model builder.

Answer:	This is a static plastic model kit of a 1/48 scale B-25 Mitchell. The parts are fragile when completed. Answer:	This model is produced by Revell Germany. It is my understanding that the paints recommended for this model cannot be obtained in the USA but only in Germany. If you go on line through Google you can find a Revell Germany Paint guide Cross Reference to Testors Paint numbers. It is a little complicated and the corresponding Testor paints listed are not easy to find. I had to order around 5 different paints through e-bay. Good luck. I think it is a great model and I am quite a PT Boat fan

Answer:	This model is similar to the tugs that worked the Piscataqua River between Maine and New Hampshire. They were built in the early 1900’s to the 1940’s. They have been replaced by modern tugs. They were all diesel powered.

Starting mid-1943, 91 u-boots Type VII C/41 have been launched. By then, the conditions of the battle had totally changed. The "wolfpack tactic" seldom achieved positive results against better protected convoys, especially with the introduction of air umbrellas. With the aim of a better defense when surfaced, the Type VII C/41 u-boots were fitted with a modified, larger bridge called "large wintergarten (winter garden)" armed with two 20 mm flakzwillings and one automatic 37 mm M42U flakkanone, which are reproduced with precision in the kit. A swiveling snorkel mast for fresh air and fume exhaust, and four pressure boxes with 5-man floats were additional typical of these boats. The use of better steel sheets allowed the maximum depth to reach 250 meters.

Answer:	No Osok, you must supply your own glue & paints. All the model kit includes is the pieces to assemble it and some of them are very small. I hope you have good eyes! Have fun.

Answer:	I would imagine you could if the hull was properly sealed from the inside and was properly ballasted. Being a static model, it is not designed for this purpose and the hull will float very high in the water, not look natural for a U boat that sat very low. If you want something afloat, you might be better served by seeking out a waterline kit.
Question:	What are things you need for this model
Answer:	This sub model is quite small. I would doubt it. Possibly a larger model but you will have to work out ballast / balance etc. Hope this helps.

Sounds like alot but other than glue and paint most items are probably already in your house.

Answer:	Any normal model glue, such as Testors or Tamaiya, should be fine. You could either paint it with either enamel or acrylic model/hobby paints. (I think acrylic gives a better look for something like this, but that's just personal preference.) Colors can either be those suggested (can't recall if it lists colors on the box or only in the instructions, which I don't have on hand) or you could look at photos or paintings of Viking craft and see if there's an alternate paint scheme that is more appealing. Hope that helps--and hope the person getting this has fun with it!

Question:	Does the kit include photo etched railings
Answer:	This could be a tough one to air brush details after it is assembled. But airbrushing base colors on the hull and deck, and then airbrushing the individual guns, etc. could be possible. Use the right type of paint for the plastic models. I have used thinned testors enamels (oil based) with good luck. Harder to clean up then acrylics (water based), but I like the look better.

When the Scharnhorst was launched in 1936, she and her sister ship, the Gneisenau, represented a completely new type of battlecruiser. Kit features waterline hull, detailed deck and  superstructure, weapons suite, crane, catapult, ships boats and Arado 196 float planes. Decals and markings for a single ship. how long and wide is the ship model

Answer:

I use an X-Acto #1 knife with a few #11 size blades. These are great. I highly recommend a Tamiya 74001 Side Cutter for Plastic (or similar product but the Tamiya one is top quality) to remove parts from the trees. For glue, old fashioned Testors tube glue is handy for the main hull parts and sticking some of the small parts in place. For overall gluing, I use Tamiya Extra Thin liquid cement. Some Tamiya Basic (grey) putty will be handy for the hull seam, if that kind of thing is important. You can get some assorted wet and dry sandpaper from a local hardware store to smooth out the putty. I chose not to use the kit's somewhat inaccurate painting guide and used colors based on specific Arizona information you can find online. But, in general, I used some of the excellent Tamiya spray paints for the hull and superstructure colors. I finished the decks by hand with several coats of enamel wood color/deck tan paint. If you don't have all of the supplies up front you can pick them up as you need them. Some things like a parts cutter are fairly expensive but once you have one, you have it for many, many, years.
