Answer:	Even at the weakest magnification, you have to hold whatever item you’re looking at about 2 inches from the lens. Not for long-term use. I use it for things like getting out a splinter, tying a knot in beading, something very short term.

Answer:	You need to find something that provides a long depth of focus! The one I bought is such that, you must hold the thing you're looking at about four inches from your face, within a couple of inches one way or the other, which is awkward. Also look for something LIGHT in weight. I removed the left eye-piece to use separately, and now just use the right. Especially since this unit does not offer separation adjustment so the odds of you getting stereo vision with it are not good.

Replacement of Batteries

The correct way to wear

• First pull out the adjustment knob of the headband magnifier, turn it counterclockwise to increase the length of the helmet, then place the headset on your head to adjust.

Answer:	I've had mine for at least 35 years. It says on mine MADE IN U.S.A. I imagine they have long since moved to China.
Question:	Is the distance given in the 'Distance to viewed objects' chart, the distance from the lens or from the eyes
Answer:	I remove my prescription glassed to read books with them. They are far better for reading than my glasses. Glasses are not real strong but are to strong to use wear at the same time as these. Can pretty much see a whole page of a novel. That my old ones. These ones I haven't figured out how to change the power on them. I am dense. The old ones have a 5 on the corner of them and new ones have a 2 1/2 which makes them the same I think.
Question:	How do yo get a ups tracking number when amazon ships from ups and you have received your package
Answer:	I wear my readers with them on but i look over top of them when i need to do very detailed work. I just realized there are two different magnifications to the headset. The one lowest setting is about as strong as my readers, whereas the higher setting is what i use for close up detailed work. There is also a little flip down lens for ultra close up stuff.
Question:	would these work for someone who is working on cars as an automobile repair person? Just wondering if you can walk around and bend over
Answer:	Main = 1.5 Main + Flipback = 3 Main + Swing Down = 8.5 Main + Flipback + Swing down = 10 It's technically not fully accurate because of lens physics (the lenses are not touching) but it's close enough.
