Answer:	Yes, this buy is worth it! We gave it to our Grandson for Christmas. The starter kit of tracks and trains are really not enough items to play with on this large/sturdy table. So, additional kits have been purchased. He uses it for his big trucks too. The table area is a nice play area. It is just the right height and length.

Mine (via 3rd party) arrived damaged and was clearly MDF or some fiberboard product, not wood.The box mine arrived in even described it as "composite wood" -- in other words, NOT solid wood as the product description seems to incorrectly state.

Answer:	Hum not sure we don’t have their train set, it does look very similar. But this does come with a train set and LEGO like toys. My daughter loves it and still played with it after 3 years.

Answer:	It is plugged into an electrical socket that is always on, verses a ceiling light that turns off when the switch is turned off. Therefore, when the power goes out, this light comes ON. I tested it by flipping the circuit breaker so I know it works when the power is out!

Answer:	All are reversible but the straight tracks. The straight tracks have a flat bottom but they really don't need to be reversible.

Answer:	They make two separate gauges of track. This set works with the wider "Wooden Track" set of trains. I know this because while a set of tracks was the big Christmas present, I bought a few extra trains as stocking stuffers and they were the narrower gauge and don't fit.

Answer:	I’ve had no issue with LEGO brand legos on this. Now the off brand legos do have issues. Although I have had issues them sticking together to good and requiring the LEGO tool.

Answer:	Regular lego pieces fit, including duplo and junior. I will warn you though that not all pieces will stick. Big green plates and pretty much any flat piece that is bigger than 6x6 will not connect to the table. I don't know why. The grey plates are glued on and they are kind of bubbly in spots (not a big deal to me) but there are 4 plates in total and they don't match up at the seams so you couldn't stick pieces across where the plates meet. Annoying, yes, but my kids don't notice and they make do.
