Question:	It says 8 and up. Is a six year old able to play with this correctly
Answer:	Had similar issues, and there are many factors that go into this (side note, I’m impressed with the engineering and the mechanical aptitude it’s developing in my children figuring this out.) 1: each top is designated as left or right rotation. There are some that can be manually switched from left to right. You must have the rip-cord loaded into the correct side of the launcher for your top’s current setting or it will not hold. 2: when locking the tip into the top layer, the metal layer will rotate all the way to one side of the grooves in the top layer: the launcher locks into the opposite end of the groove. (If you look closely, the inside of the launchers prongs have little shelves. These fit under the end section of the groove and hold it in place). 3: some beyblades have “wings” that pop-out after a collision with another beyblade. These deploy and block the metal layer from being able to rotate free and “burst” the beyblade. These are called “burst blockers”—at any rate, if they are not clicked back in place, the launcher will not lock into the beyblade. (It would be cheating to deploy an un-burstable beyblade, that’s why they must be reset.) Once you know this you can do a quick check: wings reset? Tip thoroughly seated and metal layer thoroughly set in the end of the top-layer’s grooves? Then insert launcher and rotate to opposite end of groove and you should be good to go. It will hold even if shaken.

Answer:	We did at first but if you twist them all the way away from the metal piece that sticks up in there they stay better.

Answer:	Very little actually, saw the answer somewhere "Retail Packaging" is what you find in a store with all of the usual difficulties in opening and excess usage of materials and fasteners. "Frustration-Free Packaging" is usually a simple box with a the minimum amount of packing material. Less waste. Easier to open. If you've ever been frustrated trying to unpackage a childs toy, needing to use screwdrivers and wire cutters, etc to open, you'll like the Frustration-Free.

Does it come with launchers

Answer:

No batteries needed. My 9 year old loves these. They are kind of like toy tops that spin around in a plastic arena. They get their spin from the force of pulling kids pulling a black cord that looks kind of like a ziptie. The arena is used for kids to "battle" other kids, each trying to get the other top to stop spinning first. They can also be played with outside of the plastic arena on hard surfaces. It is just easier for them to "battle" in an enclosed space.

Answer:	Yes, if your child is an avid Beyblader, it is possible to spin the Beyblades without the launcher, much like a top. My grandson often enjoys playing with them that way. You don't get quite as much force, but still a great deal of fun. Note: Many Beyblades include launchers so it's possible your child already has a few too!
