Question:	Trying to see how you can determine who the murderer is when it’s randomly assigned. How does the storyline connect and you can still guess
Answer:	No. When we bought this game, they include a little guide on what to tell people when assigning characters to the guest ahead of time that way they know how to dress up as the character. Also this is a game that can be played more than once. It’s sort of like clue and the murderer changes. So the company itself asks not to read the script until they are directed to at the party. It could give away too much info.
Question:	Can you play with more people
Answer:	I had ordered from Amazon, a crime scene outline with markers pointed all around, plus crime scene tape to rope off the outline. The attendees brought props. I was Dee Minor, famous violinist, I had a violin, I would play, off key! So much fun. The inspector inspected the crime scene. He used a French accent. Be creative!
Question:	can it be done in 2- 2 1/2 hours
Answer:	Scripts, hostess ideas and how to get it all together. Invites...although I used emails and texting. Costume suggestions. The cards you draw at the beginning for the "killer". The killer can be anyone...just saying. The script is "if you are innocent, share this...." "If you are guilty, share this...". If you are doing a big group you may want to group interview or it takes quite a bit of time. There is a CD to use also. That was cool.
Question:	The game says 6-14 players, but if you played with 5 would it completely throw off the game
Answer:	Some hosts have set this game in the 1920s and it works reasonably well because of the 'classic' setting, however, because it wasn't written for that time period there are some small anachronisms and you won't get the same 1920s references and language as you would from Murder in the Roaring '20s, which is the game we'd recommend for that time period!

Answer:	You draw the number of the murderer at the beginning. The story connects. We did it for my daughter's 16th birthday. It was a bunch of 16 year old girls so they weren't as discerning as adults may be. Fun but silly.
Question:	Is There scripted dialogue
Answer:	There are only 14 scripted suspect roles but it is possible to accommodate more players. The simplest way is to separate your guests into two groups of suspects and detectives, and then allow them to mingle. The detectives ask questions using the question menu and the suspects answer using the scripted responses in their character sheets. You can have as many detectives as you like and anywhere up to 14 suspects. Other options involve pairing guests up which involves some guests having to improvise their roles. Alternatively, you could consider "A Big Murder at the Manor" which caters for up to 20 suspects - this is also available on Amazon.
Question:	What are the recipes included in this game
Answer:	As a rough guide, the game should last 10-15 minutes per suspect, so if you're using 10 of the characters it will last around 100-150 minutes (approx. 2-2.5 hours). If you have more players, it would normally last longer, however, you are free to set the pace yourself and can speed things up if needed - for example, by setting time limits for questioning rounds or shortening the breaks between acts. There are three acts flanked by introductions at the start of the game and final statements at the end.
Question:	What type of characters make up this game
Answer:	6-14 players is the recommended range, but the game is absolutely playable with fewer and you will be able to replay it using characters you haven't yet used! One of the main considerations is length - as you get a shorter game with fewer players - and you should expect it to last around 10-15 minutes per player (so around 1-1.5 hours for 5 players). Other than that, the only thing to be aware of is that absent characters may be briefly mentioned in the evidence. These mentions can be ignored, but if you have more absent characters than present characters, you might prefer to read the evidence out yourself so you can omit these unnecessary parts.

THIS IS THE 12TH STREET THEATER CASE

Local theater owner Victoria Frankle was murdered on Thursday April 4, 2002 at a theater in downtown Edston.

In an attempt to cover their tracks and finish the job, the killer set fire to the theater. Original suspects include:



Malcolm Frankle (the husband)

Maggie Cooper (the best friend)

Angela Witherson (the actress)

Franklin Rooks (the local business owner)

Donnie Dylan (the stagehand)



All 5 of these original suspects cooperated fully with investigators and provided statements and fingerprints. However, given the lack of physical evidence recovered from the fire, the case went cold and was never solved. Two years later, local business owner Franklin Rooks attempted to purchase the property where the theater was located only to determine the property was not in the name of Malcolm or Victoria Frankle. The name on the deed was listed as one Caleb Towers. Police work determined that Caleb was the previously unknown son of Victoria from a previous marriage who was never questioned in the original investigation. After finding this information detectives Irvine and Trapper went to speak to Caleb and found out that he has struggled tremendously over the last two years knowing his mom’s murder was unsolved. He was able to provide insight into his mother’s case and a piece of potential evidence. After getting new information and seeing what this unsolved murder has done to the family left behind the detectives enlisted help from the Cold Case Crackers to finally bring justice to the killer and closure to the family left behind.

This is the 12th Street Theater Case - This fictional case is of the murder of Victoria Frankle. She was killed in April of 2002 and with the lack of physical evidence, the case went cold. You job is to sift through the evidence and determine who the killer is.
• MOVE THROUGH THE PHASES OF YOUR INVESTIGATION. This case will be solved by achieving investigation goals given to you on phase cards. Each phase and task are different, but all are crucial in solving the case. The game requires live action detective work and includes twists and turns you never see coming
• USE THE DOZENS OF DOCUMENTS AND PHOTOGRAPHS ALONG THE WAY. The evidence includes maps, cell-phone records, fingerprints, suspect profiles, photos, witness statements, interview transcripts, and much more. Answer:	This game could be played with multiple groups of 3-4 people, if you had a game for each group. The clues that help you get through the game come from previous envelopes and puzzles, so everyone would need to be together. You could have one group solve one clue and then another group solve the next clue. That could work...
Question:	I'm trying to find a true crime mystery game, is this one easy? what would you recommend? I'd like longer game play and something challenging
Answer:	There was nothing in it that was vulgar or risque. We played it with a group of Christian teens and they had fun.honestly, I haven't ever seen anything come from Thinkfun that would ever give me pause. They are great with family fun.
Question:	Are there different cases in this and if so how many different ones
Answer:	No components of the game get destroyed while playing. The envelopes that contain the clues are taped closed, but using a small amount of care would limit how damaged the envelope becomes. You would just need new tape to re-seal them. We had to use the website to put everything back in the right place when we finished the game. Other people could definitely still use the game.
Question:	If I send this to a family member after their done playing it can they send it to me and be replayed from different group with the same set of game
Answer:	Once you've played it with a certain group of people, the game is completed for this group and they cannot play again. However, the game can be reassembled if a different group of people want to play.

There is a digest in the rio-reincarnation game, but it will also go through the events of the first two games ( rinne-Utopia and arusu-install) along with the backstory of the girls. My recommendation is: watch season 1, play rinne-utopia, watch season 2, play arusu-install, and then play rio-reincarnation. Remember, it's three games in one: rinne-utopia, arusu-install, and rio-reincarnation.
