Answer:	I personally would not run any plug in unit 24/7 all winter BUT the unit has features that may influence your decision. 1) The unit AUTOMATICALLY TURNS OFF when the room reaches the desired temperature and turns back on when falls below the desired temperature. 2) The unit has OVERHEAT protection and shuts down when parts of the heater overheat. 3) If the unit is TIPPED forward or backward it will automatically shut off. Therefore there is a side A side B for each person to have their own control over the machine. It beeps when the amperage is greater than 2.5, but I found It beeped when the amperage was 2.2 or 2.3. The amperage is based on the amount of salt in the water. When this happens, I turn the machine off, dilute the salt water in the tub with a small amount a fresh tap water to dilute the saltwater. I then turn the machine back on to check that the amperage to between 1.9 and 2.1.

Answer:	Yes you can. Fan installs forward of actual window, inside the frame, not like an a/c unit. This leaves window opening clear for opening/closing of window. Screen is also not impacted and can be left in.
Question:	How far back from the front of the chassis do the vent fins start? I need 4.5 inches
Answer:	I replaced the same model fan made in 2011 with a 2020 version. I can say the 2011 version was quieter and on low was low enough not to bother me. The 2020 version appears to be more powerful and, thus, louder. The intake is louder than the exhaust. The exhaust on low is only marginally louder than the 2011 model, but the intake on low is noticeably louder. Medium or high is very loud and competes with the tv noticeably.
Question:	What type of plug is this? I'm trying to replace a similar unit and the plug type on my old one is 6-20P, will this work
Answer:	I installed mine in a horizontally sliding window. It's a non-std windows at 34" tall. I just turned the fan 90 degrees and installed it inside the window sill. I can still open and close the window with the fan in it and removing it is easy with the storm guard. My standard windows are 39" tall so you would need to shim this fan with a 2" block of wood on the bottom. The storm guard extension actually extend to about 37 inches. Or you could get the Air King 20" window fan (also avail on Amazon) which should fit a 38-43" inch tall horizontally sliding window (if the 16" Lasko, which is made by Air King is any guide to the max extensions on the storm guard). Here's a pic: http://bit.ly/1hxnzGkNote the window being closed to the left edge of the fan. There's a very small gap there. I used some foam to fill it, but then discovered it wasn't really needed. For a 2100 sq ft house, medium speed (which is fairly quiet) is plenty to bring in cool night air.

Answer:	Yes. I have modern double-pane windows with the screen integral to the window, and it's no problem. The fan mounts well to the inside (room side) of the frame. In fact, the window doesn't even go up quite far enough to clear the fan, and it's still okay, although in this case it is not easily removable. You have to mark screw holes with their template and screw it to the window frame... a bit of a pain. But it is a powerful and quiet fan.

6.The machine is not cooling or cooling slowly.

8. The air volume is not enough to feel the wind.

- Midea U uses a silent air duct design, and the air supply distance reaches 20 feet. While increasing the air volume, the wind noise is much smaller than the ordinary window machine.

9.Can the display light of the machine and the key “beep” sound be turned off?

-This is a regular feature and cannot be turned off at this time. A new version of the APP is being developed, and the function of turning off the display light and key tone will be realized by then.

10. What mobile phone permissions are required for the APP?
