Answer:	We played Smack It with our 4 yr. old grandson ( who is very bright). He had no problem understanding and following the rules. My husband, daughter ( mother of the 4 yr. old) and I had a great time playing this game several times in one afternoon. It's pretty simple.

Answer:	It's like a mix of the childhood card games i remember called "war" and "slap jack". The deck is divided between the players (no looking) and each player places a card face up in a center stack. When a "smack it" card appears, the first person to smack the deck gets the stack. Play continues from there. There are also "challenge" cards in which each player simultaneously places cards down and flips the last. The player w the highest number wins the stack. Goal is to get all the cards. It's fun!

Answer:	Thanks so much for asking! The product is made in China and I'd love to give you a little background that probably is too much information but thought some people might be interested as to how a 7-year-old made manufacturing decisions. There are card game manufactures in the US and most have extremely high minimum order quantities so when Alex (the then 7-year-old inventor) was first starting out with his Kickstarter he couldn't meet their minimum order quantities. We found an amazing company in China (The company's name is Bang Wee - Alex loved the name) who was willing to do smaller quantities and they were super supportive even though they knew he was only 7 years old. Since that initial Kickstarter the game has really taken off and Alex can order the larger quantities that a US manufacturer requires but he would still be a small fish for manufacturers who often work with big toy companies. He also knows that without Bang Wee he might not have ever been able to bring this product to life and they have been so good to him so he's decided to stay with that original manufacturer...although we make a point to review that every year and this year will go back to some US manufacturers to see if we can find a good fit. Also, finding manufacturers who work well with kids will be key (Alex is 9 now) as many people are not used to working with kids in manufacturing and thus Bang Wee has really shined in that regard. Also with the potential tariffs going in effect this month, Alex is learning a ton of about international trade which is such a great experience for him too. I mean how better to understand how tariffs work than to pay them yourself. We will update this Q&A if we do switch to a US Manufacturer.

Answer:	I don’t thinks so, someone (adult or child) who can read fluently would need to pair up with the younger child and play as a team. I have a 5yr old, 8 yr old and 10 yr old. The 5 ur old usually plays as a team with my 10 yr old. They love this game though and it’s worth having for when your youngest reads a little better.
