Answer:	This toy is made of plastic.
Question:	How do these compare to Melissa & Doug's play food
Answer:	I would say they are similar in quality, though the Melissa and Doug foods are larger (especially things like the banana). I like this set because it has a few more unusual foods, and I like that it has certain foods in multiple colors (like the peppers and grapes). But we enjoy the Melissa and Doug set as well.
Question:	Still waiting for answer from manufacturer if this is bpa and lead free and meets all us toy safety standards
Answer:	I contacted the manufacturer and they informed me that this toy is BPA free, latex free, lead free, and contains no allergens.
Question:	I see it says 3+ but a lot of reviewers are using them for younger children. Do the pieces pose a choking hazard
Answer:	Im not really sure why this set is labeled 3 and up because it is the New Sprouts quality line of food and those are labeled 3 and up so Im not really sure why this toy has the label 3 and up unless they think the sorting and color matching is more at the 3yr old level. My daughter is 19mos old and plays with these toys I don't feel any of them are small enough to be a choking hazard, the smallest piece is the berries and since it's grouped in a cluster I don't really see how anybody could choke on that.
