Question:	Will this device be able to take a stereo signal, have it processed by a linux machine and then output the modified stereo signal to it's RCA outputs
Answer:	If the device is plugged into the linux machine via the USB cable, it will do this for you. With this hookup, it will produce a 2 way signal, even simultaneously, 1 going into the computer, 1 coming out from the computer. If need be, it’s even capable of looping an output signal back in, say to a recording app on your computer. Just make sure you flip the little black monitor switch to the off position to eliminate distortion, and the signal looping back in will be crystal clear and strong.
Question:	Do I need to buy a separate cable to use this product? I'm not really sure how the I/O system works. Can someone explain? Thanks
Answer:	Not sure of your intended use for this product.I bought the UCA222 because the earphone jack on my Dell laptop went bad. It worked really well for my needs, it has a USB plug that connects to the standard USB port on my laptop. Then I connect my earphones to a standard plug on the device. No other cable required for me.
Question:	Can you connect to a USB power supply and use the analog to S/PDIF output
Answer:	I don't know about the S/PDIF but I suspect it won't work very well. I tried using the analog in to headphone jack using a USB power supply and it sounded terrible. I thought it would be a way around having to use a computer and it didn't work. Once I plugged the UCA222 into a laptop instead of a power supply it sounded way better.
Question:	Can I connect 5 of these to get 10 independent audio output channels generated by the computer via usb
Answer:	There's nothing technically preventing you from connecting 5 of these to get 10 independent audio outputs. If your software supports it, your computer will just see them as 5 individual audio cards. The problem your likely to run into is your computer does have a limit on how many USB devices can function simultaneously (USB Bandwidth). One way around this problem is to use a Quad USB PCI Card, that has 4 USB port and each one in it's own controller. The next thing you will need to consider is how many PCI lanes you have (will determine how many USB controllers your PCI bus can support) Hope this helps.

Answer:	You can use it as either. It has Left and Right 1/4 and XLR outputs for stand-alone, and a USB cable if you want to connect it to your computer. Keep in mind, if you do connect it to your computer it will only output a stereo track (2 tracks)

Answer:	I haven't tried it but I don't think it will work. It's made for PC and Android systems. I'm pretty sure the Xbox and ps3 won't recognize it as an input device.

Answer:	The signal strength is great. No direct line of sight necessary. U can actually control the TV box perfectly from another room.

Question:	Can i use this for a podcast
Answer:	Absolutely. This is what I use to record my podcast.
Question:	Would I be able to use 2 mics
Answer:	It depends on the type of mics. I have tested mine with a second mic, a Nady SP5, using an XLR to 1/4" mono cable and it worked fine. Only drawback is second mic does not get the benefit of the EQ circuit. A test demo is up on Youtube, just search for "PodcaststudioUSB XENYX502 DEMO". I forgot to put the space in the title... Sorry.
Question:	Does this have the ability to run two microphones if a second was purchased? also, our machine doesn't have firewire. does it also output to usb
Answer:	Yes it does, you can run up to three or four at a time I believe. I've only done two. Just plug it into the line 1. As for the FireWire, not sure.
Question:	Would this be good for my granddaughter who likes to sing, I thought she could record herself and play back. Is this what I need
Answer:	For singing, I wouldn't recommend this for someone who would just be starting. If she knows her way around sound equipment and software then I'd definitely recommend this or something of equal quality for the price. The microphone itself can only interface the computer through the mixer and then the USB hookup. This provides better quality than some other microphones when configured properly, but it's also more sensitive and will require a stand, and pop filter, which are not included in the set. I spent no more than $150 on this and the other equipment I bought for the purpose of live-streaming on the internet. Overall I'm highly satisfied with the use and quality i've gotten out of behringer products, but for your purposes I'm unsure of wether this is the best option.

Answer:	Because the one in the front is NOT powered. The rear inputs can power mics or active pickups, up to 48v. I run 9v batteries in all my active guitars, so they're already powered, so I just run all my guitars into the front input. If I'm recording my 4x12 cab, I use the XLR in the back with my SM57.
Question:	will this power a microphone that requires phantom power? sorry if this is a dumb question, im new to XLR microphones
Answer:	Your question has me curious. The data speed for this device will not get close to the rates requiring a cable with the thunderbolt 3 type throughout. The audio stream will get there just as fast with their stock cable and with a reasonably priced ($6-10) usb type c cable. The nicer cables are more about throughput than latency.

Answer:	Audio is routed from the computer through USB-C to Evo. There are two 1/4” outputs on the back of the Evo to plug into speakers.

Answer:	I agree with Sean on this one. I usually plug in an MP3 player and just fade in the music. This may not be the best option for you if you are constantly needing to queue music. When I've had to do that, I've done it 2 different ways, both involve a stage snake: one way was I run an actual stage snake and have the Behringer with me as if it were a traditional mixer. The second way is to run a snake for only the 2 channel audio from the laptop next to me and send it up into the stage. Again, both involve a snake and sort of defeat the main purpose of this. However, you still gain remote access to the mixer which still allows you to roam around the room to adjust the audio. It's not a complete loss if you need constant access to a music source.

Answer:	I am not familiar with that particular amp. The purpose of this product is to model a wide variety of amps and pedals. It does this quite well, and it is very easy to operate both programming and using it to play (I use it on stage). I run it to a passive board and then to powered speakers. So, running it through a modeling amp isn't necessary. That being said, if you set the amp to play without effects, the sound quality will likely reflect the quality of that amp. This product will only make it sound better.

Answer:	Prolly... I think the screens are plastic... not actual glass. Mine is holding up pretty well tho... I've has it at least a year now and no scratches, but I am pretty careful with it.

Answer:	What are trying to acheive? AT the end of the day it is a midi controller. Adobe supports mackie control the xtouch has a mackie mode so it should work but i would call adobe and find out for sure. Sometimes you will only get limited functionality. Before you buy make sure the unit will give the results you arw looking for.

Answer:	I bought it for this reason. It does work, but it's not as user-friendly as I had hoped. I had to manually configure every command because it does not have an XR-18 configuration profile.

Answer:	It is for condenser mics. Some years back I had an audio interface without 48 volts and I used this for some time to power my condenser mic. Most newer audio interfaces come with 48 volts so this is not needed. It does have small tube amp which is good for a warm tone and a limiter to let you sing louder or recorder louder instruments without over driving the input. I stopped using it when when I purchased a better interface.

Answer:	Yup. It doesn't work on batteries, tubes draw way too much power. Upgrading the tube makes a big difference.
